Am I Eligible?

You must

  • be unemployed through no fault of your own.
  • be partially employed.
  • be able to, available for, and actively seeking work.
  • have earned, at least, $858.00 in the highest quarter of your base period.

What do I need to file my claim?

  • Identification Card: Alien Resident Card, Driver’s License, or any other valid and legally acceptable form of identification
  • Social Security Card
  • Last Employer’s Separation (laid-off/discharged) Letter
  • Last Check Stub(s)
  • DD-214 Form (US Military)
  • SF-8 / SF-50 Form (Federal Civilian).

  • Go to the official website and click “File A Claim Online” to start filing

File by phone

  • For St. Croix, call 340-773-1994, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • For St. Thomas/St. John, call 340-776-3700, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
