Here's what you will do in this role:
As a Lowe's Retail Sales Associate – Part-Time, you are the key to our customers' positive shopping experiences. You will be the smiling person who greets customers as they enter our doors or shop our aisles. You will engage customers regarding the types of projects they are working on and how you may help. You will guide shoppers to the right products or introduce them to the appropriate sales specialist who can assist. Night Replenishment Managers (NRM) are members of the store leadership and management team, overseeing overnight freight handling activities. NRM's supervise the freight unload, packout, and packdown processes. NRMs will communicate priorities, ensure nightly tasks are completed and that freight is moving smoothly throughout the store. This position will be expected to teach, coach and train associates on Home Depot policies and procedures, and ensure all associates are working in a safe manner all times. At times, NRMs may be the only Manager available and will be expected to make business and associate decisions in partnership with appropriate resources and following SOPs. NRM's will provide input to Store Manager and Assistant Store Managers on Associate performance through ongoing performance management and talent planning discussions. Although the CXM does not have direct reports, they will participate in the selection and hiring process as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- 50% Replenishment - Partner with Night Operations ASM to determine responsibilities to drive efficiencies and overnight productivity. Supervise the unload, packout, and packdown processes to allow NOASM to focus on driving productivity. Execute Bay Directed Packdown Quality Walks to ensure associates are completing the process correctly. Ensure all trucks and trailers are received and unloaded timely and efficiently. Ensure all freight is packed out or placed in overhead bins quickly and efficiently. Ensure that all trash is cleaned up and the store is Grand Opening ready at the end of the shift. Prioritize and communicate messages and tasks to all associates and leaders in store.
- 25% People - Provide in the moment coaching based on observations and behavior Partners with Night Operations ASMs regarding formal performance conversations and discipline. Recognizes associates for demonstrating expectations Use recognition tools (BRAVO / Homer) to highlight associates demonstrating value based behaviors and productivity Give input to Night Operations ASM on associate performance and participate in talent planning for all hourly associates. Assist SM and Night Operations ASM with associate interview and hiring process Approve and address missed punches, variances, schedule changes, receive "call outs" and communicate with Night Operations ASM and SM regarding follow-up actions. Ensure adherence to work rule policies regarding safety referenced in the Standards of Performance. Holds associates accountable for following all SOPs.
- 25% Safety - Ensure compliance with all Home Depot policies and procedures Verify all safety and Hazmat procedures are followed. Make sure all Regulatory Compliance requirements are being followed and resolve issues as needed. Ensure compliance with all security and related policies applicable to closed store environment. Review any freight stored outside of the building and ensure it's secured and organized.

Large Equipment Lead Rental Mechanic
Position Purpose:
The Lead Rental Technician (LRT) is a skilled technician, adept at performing a full range of equipment repairs on light construction equipment (skid steers, chippers, trenchers, mini-excavators, etc.) in a group of The Home Depot stores or customer job sites in the vicinity. This position reports directly to the next-level manager for their region.
Key Responsibilities:
- 10% Communication - Communicates clearly with teammates including store associates, technicians, and customers in both verbal and written communications. The Design Consultant is responsible for selling the Home Depot Installation Services (HDIS) exterior and interior product and services to customers. The Design Consultant's primary responsibility is outside sales visits to customer homes and trade shows. Although sales efforts and incidental activities may take place at a customer's home or through virtual channels, a Design Consultant will spend the majority of his or her working time traveling and away from a dedicated office environment. Design Consultants will travel to customer's homes to make sales calls, assess customer needs, make individually-tailored product recommendations, develop and negotiate customized price quotes, present warranty information and financial options that meet the customer's needs and maintain/drive profitability. The Design Consultant will also complete required sales contracts and paperwork, and take measurements using industry standard methods to ensure orders meet required installation specifications. The Design Consultant is responsible for proactively soliciting and acquiring new customers inside assigned THD stores and during industry events (such as Home Shows). To drive sales and increase the pipeline of potential customers, a Design Consultant will travel to their assigned stores, maintain local relationships, educate store associates on HDIS offerings, and bring awareness to HDIS programs.
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Travel and engage in outside sales activities, primarily in the customer's home. Conduct professional and compelling sales presentations. Adapt quickly to changing customer needs and effectively advocate HDIS solutions.
- Conduct incidental activities necessary to complete sales (e.g., assessing customer needs, develop price quotes, measure product specifications, etc.)
- Present warranty and available financing options to customers. Prepare for appointments, commute to/from appointments and process sales-related paperwork.
- Prospecting for new customers both inside and outside of assigned THD store and participate in scheduled industry events. Proactively seek out new referrals and develop and maintain relationships with store management and associates. Attend sales and store team meetings to continually improve sales techniques and learn about HDIS product offerings.

Environment:
- Usually in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors causing moderate physical discomfort from such things as dust, fumes or odors.
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

- The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED.
Physical Requirements:
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
- 3-5 years of prior in-home or virtual sales experience
- Prior home improvement industry experience
- Prior experience with successful lead generation
- Computer and application skills and use of varied technology (email, iPad, apps, etc.)
