- Prepares end-of-shift reports that detail various aspects and statistics from each production run.
- Initiate personnel actions such as promotions, transfers or disciplinary measures.
- Communicates when necessary with other departments, workflow and production to ensure limited disruption due to equipment malfunction, product supply, etc.
- Planning production loading orders and checking those orders for accuracy.
Requirements :
- Willingness to work flexible hours and to assist with any production problems as needed. ?
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of three years working in packaging, meat processing or line manufacturing environment
- Prior experience with USDA, OSHA, HACCP, and GMP is a plus.

Duties :

- Responsible for the full life cycle of items (both inventory and supply pieces) within the Warehouse from initial receipt, quality inspection, and storage to shipping and order fulfillment
- Learn and utilize all available technology to perform daily tasks in all areas, including daily operation of RF device and performing transactions within the Warehouse management system
- Maintain accurate inventory by performing proper transactions (cycle counts, item receipts, transfers, and fulfillments, and following the assigned standard operating procedures

Provide Customer Service to Yard Customers, stock merchandise and pull merchandise to meet Customer needs. Provide customers with a shopping atmosphere that is well maintained, clean, organized and safe.
The pay range for this position is $13.00 / hr - $20.00 / hr depending on experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : The following are the essential duties and responsibilities of the Job. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Provide service to contractors, professional builders and walk-in Customers.
2. Maintain a clean yard environment including warehouses, fences and open areas. Restock unsold products. Ensure work areas and customer areas are clear of trash, weeds and other obstacles to allow customer to shop easily and safely and to provide a safe work environment.
3. Unload incoming merchandise, check receiving paperwork and store in proper bin location. Utilize appropriate machinery or tools to store merchandise without damage to products.
4. Pull merchandise per loading ticket and prepare package in staging area for delivery or pickup. Ensure proper merchandise pulled according to loading ticket.
Mark load with order number and date.
5. Cut sheets according to Customer specification and notify management of cut boards. PA : Inventory properly accounted for.
6. If assigned to this machinery, adhere to Company forklift preventative maintenance standards and advise management of mechanical and maintenance problems with forklift to ensure that repairs and maintenance are performed.
7. Participate in the execution of scheduled cycle counts.
8. Attend and participate in all Company sponsored training programs as required.
9. Perform any other duties, responsibilities or tasks as assigned.

Summary :
The Warehouse Worker will efficiently and effectively move inbound and outbound product through the warehouse for delivery.
This position may be responsible for one or more of the following job duties : Receiving, Stocking, and Loading. The hours for this role are from 10 am until close.
