The Warehouse Associate is a front-line customer service role, interacting with salespersons, customers, vendors, and the rest of the team in the warehouse.
Responsibilities
Picking orders from inventory
Unloading, moving, and storing materials
Utilizing manual lifts, reach trucks and transfer equipment (requires applicable safety and operational training)
Storing and stacking materials according to company standards
Identifying and verifying parts
Reporting inventory shortages and recommending new orders
Removing damaged materials from stock
Operating RF scanners and other hand-held devices
Other responsibilities may be assigned
Knowledge of shipping / receiving practices, policies and techniques.
Knowledge of merchandise handling and production methods.
Knowledge of supervisory practices and principles.
Pick and sort products based on customer order, size, style, color. Ship, receive, and deliver supplies, materials and equipment, and maintain inventory control and records; perform related work.
Mark materials with identifying information when needed.
Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
Ability to effectively communicate.
Possess in dein-depthledge of CODALE ELECTRIC computer systems, Microsoft Office, etc.
Must be a team player and abide by CODALE ELECTRIC’s strong core values and beliefs.
This position works in a normal office environment as well as a warehouse environment, with standard office equipment. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.

Work is generally non-sedentary in nature, but may require sitting for up to 25% of the time.

Operate Forklift, equipment such as pallet jacks. Climb ladders, Squatting-Bending.
Typical environments include offices, light industrial, commercial, utility and manufacturing. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Will include outdoor work exposed to elements and non-conditioned warehouse spaces.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred, and / or a minimum of 6 months related experience working in a warehouse and / or distribution environment.

Warehouse agent
Job Summary
The work of a Warehouse Agent includes the following : loading and unloading of cargo (mail, express, freight, and company material) on and off aircraft;
the transporting of cargo between terminals and aircraft; the ramp transfers of cargo where required; the receiving, delivering, and physical handling of freight and company material, export at the designated docks, the completion of forms and messages related to and necessary for the performance of the designated locations of the functions described.
May be assigned to perform routine cleaning of work areas, ramps, and facilities with or without powered equipment. May be assigned to assist in monitoring security of facility.
Comply with WFS site security procedures for assigned warehouse and other operations. Remain cognizant of WFS staff, security contractors, and visitors’ activities and report security breaches, suspicious occurrences, or non-compliance with the site security plan to managers or via the WFS whistleblower program.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for moving air cargo within designated warehouse.
- Load and unload cargo from pallets and containers.
- Build up cargo for outbound flights.
- Break down cargo from import flights.
- Facilitate the loading and unloading of cargo to and from semitrucks.
- May operate basic cargo handling equipment such as forklift, aircraft pallets and pallet jacks.
- Check freight for proper piece count, weight, dimensions and documents as appropriate when accepting or delivering cargo.
- May transport cargo to and from aircraft driving 3,000 lb. vehicle using depth perception to negotiate vehicle with attached carts through congested area.
Read "off-load" sheets to determine destination of cargo.
- While performing aircraft push-out and / or towing functions, engage in proper specific ground to cockpit communication via hand signals and voice commands, with and without, the assistance of sight or visual aids.
- Ability to understand and react to verbal commands and safety warnings, with and without, assistance of sight or visual aids.
Minimum Requirements
- HS Diploma, GED or Equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license.
Preferred Skills
- Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language.
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends (i.e., Friday, Saturday and Sunday), holidays, and days off.
- Ability to judge distances.
- Ability to successfully communicate with others.
Physical Requirements / Working Conditions

Inspection of products and materials with verification of counts at receipt and shipment, assembly and correct loading patterns of outbound loads, the inspection and safe operation of forklifts, and other job duties as required.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES : Forklift operation : Operation of stand-up and sit-down forklifts in a safe and efficient manner and completion of all required paperwork.
Adherence to all warehouse safety procedures and ensuring the safety and quality of all products and materials. Receiving responsibilities : Inspect all inbound products and materials for defects and ensures seals are intact for inbound loads.
Verify accuracy and quality of all inbound products and materials. Ticket and label all inventoried products and materials.
Maintains required documentation. Order filling responsibilities : Examines pick tickets for special loading and batching requests.
Review daily inventory reports and follow FIFO applications related to expiration dates and inventory management. Verify accuracy of finished goods inventory utilizing daily inventory reports.
Notify Production Supervisor or Plant Accountant of discrepancies and necessary inventory adjustments. Pick and batch order to proper height and weight of pallets to be loaded.
Pick and ship only damage free product and load tightly wrapped pallets. Follow all special instructions per customers needs.
Replenishment of materials and supplies to production. Loading responsibilities : Visually inspect trailer for proper temperatures, cleanliness, and any defects before loading and document findings on designated paperwork.
Verify pallet count for each shipment and load the trailer accordingly. Verifies BOL’s for accuracy and ensure truck seals are administered.
Additional job responsibilities : Effectively communicate any relevant information to fellow operators / leads / supervisors, before, during and after shift Daily housekeeping of finished goods and dry goods warehouse.
Ensure forklifts are cleaned, sanitized, and inspected on daily basis, and inspection reports completed. Adhere to safe work practices, follow GMP’s, maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that product Quality is maintained : Report to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality or personnel safety.
Relieve casing operators during breaks and meal periods. Assist with cycle counts in accordance with established procedures.
Qualifications EDUCATION : High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent. EXPERIENCE : 6 months or more forklift experience in warehouse setting preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS : Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write documentation needed to pass information from shift to shift. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS : Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.
Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance. REASONING ABILITY : Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Key Responsibilities
