Job Summary Responsible for all systems and activities involved in the receiving, storage, and shipping of products by the Bunge Oils located in Sandston, VA.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities : · Responsible for the daily operation of all logistics functions, including personnel training, auditing, and work assignments · Execute good manufacturing practices while promoting a safe working environment and maintaining sanitation standards (GMP and HAACP) · Ensure safe operation and safety of all material handling equipment.

Maintain proper standards for all logistic document preparation, issuance, and retention to include : shipping manifests and bills of lading,

truck loading sheets and pick plans, and packing slips.

  • Ensure integrity of all SAP transactions : PGI, returns and inventory accuracy
  • Ensure packaging needs of production are met at all times. Work with Scheduling Department and Production Manager to bring in supplies

that meet Bunge quality standards

  • Maintain physical condition of warehouse and coolers by planning and maintaining routine housekeeping schedules, complying with GMPs
  • Continually identify and implement short and long term cost savings opportunities, in the areas of distribution and warehousing, that

do not compromise quality

Facilitate good communication by regularly informing management of significant operational issues, changes and recommendations · Participate in food safety inspections including interacting with plant QA, regulatory agencies, customer, and external auditors · Coordinate daily workflow for the Warehouse Supervisor, Shipping Coordinator, and Logistics Coordinator · Administer or coordinate corrective action / discipline to affected employees · Has the responsibility to report all food safety and quality issues to persons having authority · Other tasks and projects as assigned by the Plant Manager;

Job purpose

The Senior Manager of Warehouse Operations and Logistics is responsible for all areas related to warehouse operations and distribution.
