The Application Security Specialist is responsible for the ongoing application security design, build, testing, validation and ongoing support of mission critical application(s).
In addition, this position requires the ability to independently interact with clients and demonstrate critical thinking and follow through skills when developing solutions to identified issues.
Perform other duties as needed.
Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information systems, healthcare, or a related field required or an additional six years of experience required in lieu of degree.
Minimum two years of experience in healthcare, information technology, or a related field required. Minimum two years of experience with Epic or other healthcare systems is preferred.
Valid Driver's License required at time of hire. Certification in a minimum of one primary EPIC application is preferred.
Knowledge of the business / operational area supported by the applications. Knowledge and understanding of application security principles, standards, and best practices with related implementation skills.
Solid knowledge of clinical or business / revenue cycle workflow in healthcare. Able to read; write legibly; speak in English with professional quality;
use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint). Working knowledge of project management software such as MS Project, Access, and other project management tools for task tracking and team collaboration efforts.
Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure;
lead, supervise, teach, and collaborate; accept direction. Ability to deal effectively with people and elicit support from other department areas, vendors, and customers.
Excellent analytic, communication, and documentation skills. Strong organizational skills including proficiency in the usage of project planning tools and Project Management Methodologies.

Security Guard
We are looking for a dedicated Security Guard to maintain a safe and secure environment for our organization. The Security Guard will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the entrance and exit of visitors, reporting suspicious or criminal activities, and following all security protocols and procedures established by the company.
The Security Guard will also be responsible for maintaining a professional demeanor and appearance while on the job and preventing illegal or inappropriate actions by maintaining a high visibility presence.
Key Responsibilities :
- Monitor and control the entrance and exit of visitors according to established protocols.
- Use provided communication devices such as two-way radios in a clear and concise manner to report incidents promptly.
- Alert the appropriate personnel or authorities in the event of suspicious or criminal activities.
- Follow all security protocols and procedures established by the company to ensure the safety of the premises.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance while on the job.
- Prevent illegal or inappropriate actions by maintaining a high visibility presence.
Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a valid D-License.
- Minimum 1 year of security experience.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Prior security or law enforcement experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and respond quickly in emergency situations.
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods.

POSITION PURPOSE / SUMMARY STATEMENT (defines the major functions / purpose of the position) : Maintains safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS : Develop and maintain productive, effective, and professional relationships with peers, superiors, auditors, and others.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment and access points.
Writes reports of daily activities and irregularities such as property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons or unusual occurrences.
Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences and surveillance activities.
Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
Respond to alarm company off hours calls.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
Education / Experience :
- High school diploma.
- 2 years’ experience as a security officer or law enforcement officer
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES :

Minimum Requirements :
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
