SUMMARY : If you are a Hands-on Cyber Security Manager with experience, please read on! The Security Assessment Team is looking for a Manager to lead our Team of Junior and Senior level Software Assessors at the Comcast HQ in Philadelphia.

This position will report up to the Director of the Assessments Team.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Direct management of circa 9 security engineers
  • Coordinate Penetration Testing efforts and monitor work through completion while ensuring SLAs (Service Level Agreements) are met.
  • Work with Operations Team to ensure Assessments requests are groomed and ready to be executed.
  • Review request queue to understand bandwidth and allocate work accordingly.
  • Assist Team with gathering information, clearing blockers so assessments are completed in a timely manner.
  • Mentor and guide Team members. Perform frequent Check-Ins.
  • Generate Weekly Metrics highlighting progress and issues / blockers. COMCAST India Engineering Center I LLP Public (P)
  • Provide subject matter guidance to employees as required. Develop processes and procedures to drive department efficiencies.
  • Ensure work is well documented and standardized processes are followed to report results.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Assign projects to appropriate resources.
  • Builds strong relationships and operating rhythms with leaders inside and outside the core team.
  • Interface with team members and stakeholders with professionalism and an overall positive attitude.

WHAT YOU SHOULD POSSESS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science and / or equivalent work experience in a related field.
  • Basic Knowledge of penetration testing simulations (e.g., Hack the Box, Capture the Flag)
  • Proven experience leading or participating in cross functional efforts for managing organization wide security risks.
  • Ability to translate technical risk issues to business leaders and upper management.
  • Collecting, analyzing, reporting, and briefing Security Assessments.
  • Proven people skills as it relates to day-to-day management, workload management, performance, and personal development.

Job Summary

The Cyber Security Specialist is responsible for protecting the organization's information and assets by identifying and mitigating security threats, vulnerabilities, and risks.

The specialist will work closely with other members of the IT team to implement security measures and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement cybersecurity policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information systems.
  • Conduct threat and risk analysis and analyze the business impact of new and existing systems and technologies to eliminate risk, performance, and capacity issues.

They implement vulnerability assessments and configure audits of operating systems, web servers, and databases and detect patterns, insecure features, and malicious activities in the infrastructure.

  • Perform research, testing, evaluation, and deployment of security technology and procedures.
  • Run diagnostics on any changes to data to verify any undetected breaches.
  • Develop and implement information security standards, guidelines, and procedures.

  • Experience with security automation and orchestration tools, such as SOAR platforms.
  • Experience working in a regulated industry, such as healthcare.
  • Relevant cybersecurity certifications, such as OSCP, CEH, or GPEN.

Core Skills

  • Strong technical skills in computer systems, network security, and risk management.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks, such as NIST and ISO 27001.
  • Familiarity with security tools, such as firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and antivirus software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Make a facility check before assuming responsibility and note deficiencies during the shift change.
  • Collaborate with the previous shift to make corrections / completion of duties before you assume responsibility for the facility.
  • Document noteworthy information (negative or positive) on the shift report form, ensuring needed supplies are on hand.

  • Participate in monitoring of resident activities, searches of the resident bedroom, locker, and body search with the metal detector.
  • Copy and maintain a supply of all forms / documents used by the monitors.
