The Opportunity :
Working as part of the Global Information Security team, the Security Architect is expected to understand a wide array of IT security controls, secure infrastructure, product, and solution development concepts.
The Security Architect will review quarterly Open Text Cloud solution releases looking at each solution’s use of secure data transport, secure data handling and storage, secure identity management and authentication, secure secrets and key management, and assess solution data flow diagrams and components.
This hands-on role requires some knowledge of various security concepts, such as, secure commercial platform architecture, secure cloud and web application architecture, risk models, common industry security best practices, and other common IT security domain concepts.
The candidate does not need to have knowledge of all of these; mentoring will be provided for this position.

What it takes :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematical Sciences, or similar degree, or equivalent experience preferred.
- 3+ years in network, information systems, information security, or application engineering.
- A passion for security and a curiosity and eagerness to learn more in the field of Information Security.
- An understanding or knowledge of network security, commercial infrastructure and cloud security best practices.
- Capable of working on a team in a highly collaborative environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, work ethic, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to communicate security best practices, recommendations, and concepts to others for inclusion or adoption into business processes, procedures, and policies where it makes sense.
- Ability to research answers to questions or solutions to security-related problems when necessary.
- Knowledge of Open Text Commercial products and solutions is a plus.
- Good analytic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

Security Officer
This is a Full-Time position at Northwest Medical Center.
Summary :
Provides security for patients, employees and visitors; protects facility buildings, assets and premises as assigned. Patrols campus buildings and premises to discourage theft, vandalism, and unauthorized intruders while watching for the occurrence of fires.
Writes "Incident Reports" and supports the report with investigative follow-up. All written documentation is proof read for spelling and grammatical errors then submitted in a timely manner.
Photographs are taken when applicable. Conducts periodic patrols of the assigned adjacent buildings and monitors all safety concerns.
Works with clinical personnel when child custody issues or patient protection issues are present.

Security Officer
SUMMARY :
Protects buildings and grounds to prevent fire, theft, vandalism, or illegal entry. Regularly tours the facility to determine that possible entry points are secure and not tampered with.
May respond to employee calls for assistance or escort to and from parking lot or building. May be assigned to one post or may constantly tour the facility.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Patrols hospital buildings and premises to prevent fire, theft, vandalism, and intruders.
Controls parking and traffic flow; enforce parking regulations.
Responds to emergencies such as accidents and injuries, crimes in progress and safety hazards.
Provides assistance, summon proper authorities and police to maintains order, safety and to protect property.
Directs and / or escorts patients, visitors, and personnel to hospital buildings and premises.
Secures and / or unlocks offices and facilities.
Handles all incoming telephone calls, exercises judgment as to the urgency or other nature of the call, and directs them to the appropriate personnel.
Investigates disturbances and, in the event of an emergency, take charge of policing to maintain order, safety, to protect order.
Prepares crime, injury and incident reports; maintains records on vehicle related issues.
Performs comprehensive investigations of alleged violations of criminal law; prepares reports detailing activities and findings.
Adheres to TMC organizational and department-specific safety, confidentiality, values, policies and standards.
Performs related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION : High school diploma, or general education degree (GED), or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
EXPERIENCE : Six (6) months of security experience preferred.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT : Due to insurance company requirements, incumbent must be 21 years of age or older in order to operate a company car.
LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION : Valid Arizona driver’s license. Security license by the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
Must complete the following within 60 days of hire : Officers must complete the Security Departments approved training program in Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, Healthcare Restraints, Self Defense, and Baton.
Officers must also complete any new additional training the department has approved to help create a safer environment for the Officer and everyone.
Officers will need to re-certify every year and complete competencies throughout the year.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES :
- Knowledge of security measures to be taken to secure facility, grounds, staff and the general public.
- Skill in patrolling grounds and facilities ensuring nothing is suspicious looking or possibly unsecured when it should be.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to complete routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to listen and accurately interpret others’ communication or instructions to take appropriate action.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

We are seeking a professional, customer-service oriented Security Officer to be part of our Christian Care Family. We are looking for a responsible individual to respond to our seniors' needs while preserving their dignity and quality of life.
This is a part time position that involves high levels of customer service in a senior housing community. It offers an excellent opportunity to the customer service minded experienced Security Officer.
The primary purpose of this position is to oversee resident safety and act as a deterrent to crime. As a Security Officer, you will respond to all resident emergency calls, observe, and report any unusual activities throughout the property.
You will enforce the policies and rules set forth by Christian Care and protect all residents' rights within the framework of Federal, State, and Local laws.
To carry out these ideals within the law and the rules of this institution, you will have the power to act as your professional judgment requires.
This role also serves to assist maintenance in assessing after-hours emergency calls.

Responsibilities

- Additional skills required include great observation, good judgment, common sense, and excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English
- Strong customer service skills and computer experience a must
