Production Operator- Seasonal DaysThis position is responsible for daily operations of the production floor; ensuring the shift meets established safety, quality, and production goals in compliance with all applicable legal and food safety requirements.
Essential Functions
- Responsible for daily activities of the production line(s), ensuring product adheres to Niagara’s standard of safety, quality, and throughput.
- Accurately completes applicable quality and production reports hourly. Physical and visual inspection of product is required to prevent non-conforming goods.
Correctly reports all quality defects to the appropriate team members and shift leadership.
- Adheres to the highest standards of company and plant safety programs, guidelines, rules, and regulations.
- Abides by Niagara’s Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Safety Standards at all times.
- Maintains general housekeeping in all areas of production and additional areas assigned by plant leadership.
- Maintains appropriate level of raw materials as required, to ensure production lines incur minimal downtime.
- Demonstrates the aptitude and skill to work in all assigned areas of production; troubleshoots minor production line issues and performs relief duties when required.
- Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.
- Ability to work 12 hour shifts, day or night, on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule or schedule as dictated by production demand.

Job Duties :
The Seasonal Warehouse Associate 3 is responsible for the accurate storing, shipping, and receiving of product to meet company standards of safety, security, and productivity.
The Warehouse Associate will be required to perform various functions including receiver / checker, order filler / picker, forklift operator, and quality auditor.
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for safe and efficient operation of any material handling equipment required to perform his / her daily functions.
A Seasonal Warehouse Associate 3 has moderate experienced in warehousing, can operate 1 or more pieces of equipment, reach truck experience, preforms receiving and / or shipping functions.
Receiving / Put-Away - Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations. Prior to product storage, count all product, compare to manifest, and check all shipments for damage.
Report shortages, damages, and mis-shipments on appropriate form and forward to supervisor. Efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate areas.
Order Picking - Efficiently pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is selected.
Carry or transport orders to proper staging locations.
- Quality - Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Report quality variances.
- Loading - Efficiently move product from staging or storage areas into trailers. Ensure all product is safely stacked, wrapped and loaded in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Equipment - Safely and efficiently operate forklift or other material handling equipment as required and assist in the loading or unloading of merchandise as needed.
Use radio frequency equipment for picking, receiving, and storing functions as needed.
- Inventory - Assist in physical inventories. Ensure proper stock rotation.
- Safety / Sanitation / Security - Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the distribution center.
Perform or assist in building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as required. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety.
Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
Essential Competencies :
The Warehouse Associate must be able to read, count accurately, do simple math, and write legibly. The ability to complete a forklift training course and operate material handling equipment is an important skill.
He / she must also be capable of sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time. The ability to follow directions is extremely important.
Familiarity with computers and radio frequency equipment is beneficial.
Qualifications - External

Seasonal Service Technician
Overview
Performs basic pre-install and setup of all assigned machines per Canon Solustion America Pre-Install / Configuration Shop Standards.
Begins OJT training in configuration. May also be required to complete basic used equipment evaluations. Services and maintains supported products in accordance with Service and Parts Standards to achieve efficiency and a high level of customer satisfaction.
Performs routine maintenance according to documented standards and assists with installations. Unresolved problems will be escalated in accordance with standard procedures.
Seasonal : June-August
Responsibilities
- Reports to manager product failure trends and serviceability issues, with necessary supported documentation, ensuring accurate information and record keeping.
- Meets customer demands by providing efficient, responsive and accurate Field / Shop / on-site maintenance.
- Properly maintains all technical information, FSR’s, Expense Reports, and Canon property assigned.
- Possesses good customer communication and satisfaction skills.
- Performs assigned pre-installs / configurations each day at or above the established benchmark for the model.
- Maintains constant high level of work quality and consistent conformance with published standards.
- Maintains all technical information and Canon property assigned.
- Communicates well with fellow team members, and other Internal departments regarding the timely completion of assigned work related to pre-installs and / or preparation of used machines.
- Assists and / or cross trains in other Logistics functions as assigned.

Qualifications
HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required, plus less than one year of related experience.

- Required to take all necessary steps to obtain security and / or other clearances required by customers to enter the customers’ premises.
