What you will do
You will actively sell to, manage, and train accounts within assigned region (Wisconsin). The Territory Manager- Water will develop relationships and credibility with our customer base, which includes our contractor customers and supply chain partners in Wisconsin.
You will be responsible for sales growth, profitability, customer service, issue resolution, new product introduction, and industry involvement.
How you will do it
Analyze new business opportunities, develop sales plans and execute planned action steps in order to acquire new business in line with Company strategies and growth objectives.
Be an active participant in industry associations.
Develop account goals and business plans for key and target customers that are in alignment with our overall channel strategy.
Monitor and manage price strategy to align with the current market conditions. Report business forecasts and participate in team calls both internally and with channel partners.
Ensure new products are introduced effectively and in a timely manner.
Coordinate with engineers, contractors and facility owners in order to define product specification and to ensure 100% acceptance of products by owners and distributors.
Present products to customers to accomplish customer acceptance of the value-added proposition attached to our products and services and achieve sale closures on terms that are mutually satisfactory to the customer and Johnson Controls.
Develop annual, quarterly, monthly and weekly plans detailing concepts and actions vital to achieve business growth opportunities consistent with overall growth objectives.
Participate with other sales teams in sharing marketing intelligence about product opportunities that will grow sales.
Coordinate new and repeat sales through distribution to obtain 100% customer satisfaction with our order fulfillment process.
Build and maintain relationships with customers at all levels to ensure account retention.
Ability to work cross-functionally within the organization to support territory needs in terms of product, technical, customer service and contract needs for distribution.
What we look for
Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field of study or a minimum of 3 years sales experience in the Fire Protection industry.
Proficient in MS Office Platforms : Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Able to present in front of large audiences.
Strong leadership characteristics.
Organization and time management skills.
Preferred
Experience managing external distribution.
Strong technical skills, preferably in Fire Suppression Products.

Division Description :
The Folding Carton Division is an industry leading manufacturer of folding cartons for food, beverage, tissue, hardware, confectionary, and many other industries.
Employing around 300 people, this facility designs, prints, and manufactures folding cartons, trays, and counter displays for a broad range of products and customers.
Position Overview :
This position will be dedicated to working closely with our Sales Representatives and Customers to meet our customer’s needs.
This role interacts with customers relative to the quoting of products, placement of orders, pricing, deliveries, complaints, and technical recommendations.
Responsibilities :
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Managing multiple accounts
- Processing and expediting orders
- Quoting, including CAD layout
- Maintaining vendor managed inventory programs
- Managing finished goods inventory
- Handling complaints and quality concerns
- Coordinating timely deliveries
Qualifications :

You'll be rewarded with a compensation of $44,000 annually with an additional annual incentive of $3,000 earned from fun sales contests and a variety of recognition programs.

How You'll Succeed at J. J. Keller
- Actively participate in Sales Academy program which includes a combination of learning opportunities and application of skills.
- Uncover customer needs and place products / services for follow-up by a Sales Representative. Schedule follow-up appointment for the Sales Representative as appropriate.
- Sell assigned products / services as assigned using an outbound calling approach.
- Qualify accounts as needed to determine sales opportunities and identify additional contacts / buyers. If an opportunity is identified for another sales area, take appropriate action to forward the lead.
- Organize and manage leads to capitalize on placement and sales opportunities and ensure all leads are contacted based on the cycle criteria.
- Service all customers, internal and external, in a professional manner. Resolve customer service problems to the mutual satisfaction of both the company and the customer.
- Accurately complete and process documentation related to customer transactions.

Position Duties :
- Identify and create business opportunities in a designated territory.
- Visit current and potential growers to identify needs.
- Educate and present Seed, Chemical, and Fertilizer solutions to individuals and groups
- Develop and maintain Corn and Soybean plots
- Increase sales utilizing the entire coop portfolio of products and services
- Conduct and present scouting reports and soil samples
- Assist operations with service and delivery of goods sold
Position Requirements :
- Clean driving record
- Ability to work long hours all season outdoors

Essential Functions of the Inside Sales Representative :
