RESPONSIBILITIES - Manager
- Ensure compliance with Company standards and responsible for overseeing daily operations of establishment, including staff relations, preparation, customer relations, restaurant maintenance and repair, inventory management, team management, food preparation and quality, and financial accountability
- Cultivate leadership through modeling, strategic communication and mentorship
- Ensure highest level of customer service is executed across location
- Help lead in training, development, and communication with all team members to ensure they properly understand and meet job expectations
- Enforce Company policies with management team / direct reports and team members through written and oral communication in a timely and effective manner
- Identify potential or existing operational problems and work with upper management to initiate, develop, and implement appropriate solutions and measure results
- Perform general clerical functions within the restaurants as needed, which may include payroll, scheduling and ad hoc projects
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS - Manager
- 1+ years in a management role within the hospitality industry
- Proficiency with point-of-sale systems, inventory control, and employee scheduling
- Ability to plan, prioritize and delegate workload in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Sound judgment and superior decision-making skills
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule to meet business demands, including weekends nights and holidays
- Experience overseeing a union workforce preferred

- $18,527-$20,777 in overtime and bonuses per year for Managers (Disclaimer : Overtime is based on an average of 250 hour per year.
Bonus is performance based; this number is an estimated average across concepts)

Restaurant Manager
$65000 per year - $80000 per year
The manager is responsible for leading department-level restaurant operations; models and demonstrates leadership that is grounded in the Darden Core Values.

Job Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years, current, salaried management experience in a high- volume upscale restaurant or high end resort restaurant

Primary Objective of Food and Beverage Supervisor Position
The primary objective of the host / hostess is to deliver an excellent first and last impression to all guests and to provide accurate information over the phone and in person in a friendly and efficient manner.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for quality service for the guests in the restaurant and banquet events.
- Make sure servers are following standards of service at all times
- Ensure that staff takes breaks when needed, covering their area if needed.
- Performs table touches to ensure quality service and immediately corrects any problems
- Maintain thorough knowledge of restaurant and bar menus.
- Schedule and arranges parties or special services / amenities for patrons.
- Assign work tasks & coordinates activities of restaurant and banquet personnel to ensure prompt and courteous service to patrons.
- Inspect banquet space and dining room for neatness and cleanliness, and requisitions table linens and other supplies.
- Interviews and oversees training of new hires.
- May assist with creating weekly staff schedule.
- May assist with placing orders with vendors
- May assist with counting and monitoring inventory
- Design and implement programs / promotions that maximize revenue and profit.
- Reward employees who utilize their empowerment to meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Acquires a working knowledge of hotel, in-house facilities, and local information to respond to customer questions in these areas as required
