Job Description
The Recruiter is an integral part of the ABS Talent Acquisition team. The team member functions as an HR professional and routinely interacts with all levels of management, including executive team members.
Additionally, the team member will primarily support ABS Group, which offers consulting services within various industries.
This role will work out of our new corporate headquarters in Spring, Texas, three days per week. The other two days (Monday and Friday) allow the team member the option to work remotely.
What You Will Do :
- Support ABS Group's hiring needs within the United States to attract talent with a strong sense of urgency.
- Leverage experience to primarily recruit candidates in Engineering, Operations, Business Development, Risk and Reliability, Financial Services, and Cyber Security.
- Proactively create staffing strategies and identify alternate methods for attracting candidates to assigned open positions, including passive ones.
- Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, and employees.
- Work professionally with other HR team members, including Recruiters, Coordinators, HR Business Partners, Compensation, and HR Management.
- Report weekly on assigned openings, via standardized reporting and live sessions, with members of the management team and Human Resources.
- Responsible for assigned openings from the requisition creation stage to the offer creation and acceptance stage.
- Operate as a business partner to ABS Group and take the initiative to learn the business and how talent acquisition impacts the operation.
- Partner, on occasion, with College Recruiting to identify to help attract recent college graduates or interns to ABS Group.
- Expected to guide members of management, as needed, as it relates to interviewing and hiring talent.
What You Will Need :
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree at a minimum is required.
- At least five (5) years of recruiting experience is preferred. Candidates with considerably more experience are also encouraged to apply.
- Prior experience recruiting for a consulting services firm is preferred but not required.
- Prior experience utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems, especially ORC or Taleo, is strongly preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledgeable of employment law as it relates to Talent Acquisition and hiring.
- Ability to interact with all levels of employees and the confidence to provide guidance and feedback regardless of title.
- Must be able to professionally and positively work in a diverse environment where respect for others is the expectation.

Reporting Relationships :
The professional will report to the Director of Global Talent Acquisition. In addition, the professional will work closely with members of HR, including the HR Director of ABS Group, and HR Business Partners.
The professional should be comfortable working in a collaborative environment where team members constructively interact frequently with one another.
Working Conditions :
The work environment will primarily be an air-conditioned office setting requiring the employee to sit for prolonged periods while talking on the phone, reading from a computer monitor, and typing on a keyboard.
In addition, the team member may occasionally lift items that weigh up to 20 pounds. Sometimes, the team member may be asked to travel by way of common transportation to recruiting or other work-related events.

POSITION SUMMARY :
The Recruiter will provide full cycle recruiting functions including job description / requisition development, talent recruitment strategies, candidate sourcing, screening & assessment, and offer and hiring decision insight.
JOB FUNCTIONS AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

JOB SUMMARY
The Admissions Recruiter supports enrollment efforts by providing admissions information to prospective students and recruiting for admission into the university.
DUTIES
- Recruits and assists with enrolling prospective students by promoting the university and its academic program offerings
- Manages an assigned territory of high schools and recruitment sources to ensure that there is a robust increase in inquiries and applicant pools from term to term
- Monitors students' progress in assigned territories concerning admissions and enrollment
- Maintains and shares up-to-date student caseload reports and records
