Under the direction of the Senior Special Agent, Office of Correctional Safety (OCS), the Special Agent performs a variety of duties for the Fugitive Apprehension Team (FAT) associated with the investigation, location, and apprehension of parolees, parolees at large (PALs), inmate / ward escapees, and other fugitives.
The incumbent conducts sensitive criminal and / or administrative investigative and enforcement activities in accordance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and policies.
This job is located in Bakersfield.

OCS has established a specialized course of fire and applicable staff assigned to OCS are required to pass this quarterly course of fire with primary and other assigned firearms in order to maintain their assignment to OCS
Candidates new to CDCR or the Division of Juvenile Justice are required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan fingerprinting and Tuberculosis testing prior to appointment followed by department annual Tuberculosis testing / evaluation thereafter.

Sous la supervision du directeur du service à la clientèle, votre mandat consistera à analyser et conseiller les membres dans leur besoin en assurance.
En matière de souscription, vous aurez à recueillir et analyser les besoins d’assurance des membres :
- Analyser et préparer tous documents reçus ou requis par l’assuré (contrat, certificat, attestation, etc.) ;
- Procéder à l’analyse du risque, l’évaluation des bâtiments et établir la tarification du compte ;
- Préparer et présenter les soumissions d’assurance ;
- Procéder à l’émission des polices, des avenants et des renouvellements annuels ;
- Faire le suivi des recommandations formulées aux rapports d’inspection ;
- Assurer le service à la clientèle téléphonique ;
- Rencontrer les membres périodiquement (de jour ou de soir) ;
- Soutenir les membres de l’équipe dans la souscription et l’analyse des risques ;
Participer au projet de développement des affaires
Compétences recherchées
Détenir un permis de l’AMF en assurance de dommages des entreprises ou être disposé à l’obtenir
Avoir de 5 à 10 ans d’expérience comme souscripteur, agent ou courtier en assurance commerciale
Faire preuve d’une grande autonomie, de dynamisme et d’un très bon esprit d’analyse
Excellentes capacités organisationnelles, de gestion des priorités et respect des échéanciers
Excellente communication et sens du service à la clientèle
Formation en assurance de dommages des entreprises
Maitrise de la suite Office, et plus particulièrement des logiciels Excel et Word
Posséder un permis de conduire valide et une voiture en bon état pour rencontrer les clients
Bilinguisme (français et anglais)
Titulaire du titre de Professionnel d’assurance agréé (PAA), un atout

The Import Export Agent
I.K. Hofmann is looking for an immediate long-term contract opening for an Import Export Agent in Los Angeles, CA for a Cargo facility.
We are looking for ambitious and detail-oriented individuals to perform faced paced warehouse cargo work, under supervision.
They need to be flexible to work different shifts.
Import / Export Agents Pay Range : $24.73-$25.81
The Import Export Agent is responsible for :
Processes export and import inquires as per client requirements and procedures such as
processing of discrepancies at acceptance
preparation and finalization of outbound flights / trucks
handling of import documentation (delivery, transfer and abandoned shipment)
Processes all Air Waybills and HAWBs and ensures accurate data capture as per client’s requirements and procedures
Handles Special Cargo
Initiates invoicing, accepts cash payments
Performs Service Recovery activities (i.e. tracing, warehouse checks, offloads
Performs Airmail Handling
Fully supports the quality standards
Works according to documented CHM and GOM procedures
Observes and applies the security requirements of the client and local authorities
Contacts customers, inform them of any / all irregularities

Responsibilities :
