DEFINITION Under immediate supervision, provides a variety of support and liaison services in all aspects of multimedia production and assists production and operation staff as needed.

Incumbents in the Production Assistant Bilingual / Biliterate (Spanish) are expected to perform duties of a Production Assistant, utilizing English and Spanish oral and written skills.
The Multimedia Production Coordinator is responsible for coordinating production resources and personnel. The Multimedia Production Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the LACOE studio and management of the production budget and staff.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED Immediate supervision is provided by a manager or supervisor. This position has no supervisory or lead responsibilities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Experience : One year of full-time experience working at the professional level as a Production Assistant or a related position working with various production equipment for a television, film, or multimedia production company.
Education : Graduation from high school or equivalent
Equivalency Provision : Two years of college (i.e. 60 college semester units or 90 college quarter units) with major coursework in English, script writing, video / television production, cinema, communication, media production or related field from an institution of higher learning accredited by a regional accrediting organization recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation may substitute for six months of the required experience.
Foreign degrees and credit units require translation and equivalency established by an agency recognized by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
Additional Requirements / Information : A valid California driver's license and the availability of private transportation or the ability to provide transportation between job sites is required.
Incumbents in this classification will be required to lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds and push objects weighing up to 150 pounds.
Must be able to climb and work from ladders up to 20 feet in height.

JOB DESCRIPTION
FOX Sports is looking for a Creative Production Assistant to join our team in Los Angeles, CA. Under general supervision, the Assistant is responsible for providing support for the creation of promotional campaigns for FOX Sports.
This includes acquiring, logging, and researching any materials needed to produce a promo. The Assistant works closely with the Creative Directors, Producers, and Project Managers in the edit bays, on-shoot locations, and in the office to ease and support the workflow for a given project.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Organize and track all folders, notes, files, tapes, and materials needed for the pre-production, production, and post-production phases for a given project
- Provide overall production support and assistance to creative directors, producers, and project managers for the completion of a promo
- Label, screen, log, and dub melts, film transfers, and other footage as assigned
- Research images, clips, music, and footage needed for projects
- Download, import, and export files for projects
- Create clip reels from materials screened to be brought in to edit bays
- Research information on particular projects, sports, players, and teams
- Assist in writing / producing on-air promotional spots as needed

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
