What you'll do at Elekta :

Product Managers are responsible for spanning a worldwide company to bring both long term and short term needs together from multiple business units to drive product planning and development.

This is a mid-level product manager role.

Responsibilities :

Drive development priorities to meet established business objectives.

Work closely with Elekta's Health Policy and Government affairs team, regulatory team and legal teams and define product and platform requirements related to US compliance viz Meaningful use, HIPAA, CMS (ROAPM), 21Century Cures Act

Work with regional compliance teams in EU, APAC, TIMEA regions to enhance products to meet the respective regions' government regulations.

Build and maintain roadmap for workflow products and align roadmaps to meet interoperability strategy

Create test plans, and coordinate ONC certifications with certification agencies for all versions of Elekta's products.

Keep sales teams and the customers informed on the requirements to meet the new government regulations and the enhancements in Elekta's products

Provide in-depth knowledge of competitive products as well as emerging products, services, and technologies being developed to address these challenges.

Support product promotion and sales efforts.

Handle escalated product issues and provide service training and support.

Coordinate with regions on awareness and timelines for global compliance initiatives

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

3 to 10 years of experience in Healthcare regulatory standards and compliance

2+ years of experience in product security

Ability to visualize long-term organizational strategy and motivate others to see the same.

Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations like MIPS, ROAPM, 21Century Cures Act, and Appropriate Use Criteria.

Strong knowledge of product security, and risk mitigation from vulnerability tests

Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to effectively interact with members of other departments.

Ability to effectively interact with customers (via phone and face-to-face).

Good organizational skills.

Good working knowledge / understanding of the general healthcare market.

Must have excellent communication skills and be able to speak, read, and write English to deliver compelling presentations to senior-level management.

Travel 25%, domestic and international.

Major Accountabilities

Get to the root of problems facing our clients before jumping to solutions.

Lead squad adoption of client obsessed practices, leveraging design thinking frameworks and playbook approaches.

Lead the planning and execution of client research and design workshop practices to build and execute the Product Roadmap and OKR creation.

Synthesize information from multiple channels such as direct client feedback, stakeholder feedback, market research, competitor analysis, and user testing.

Author feature briefs and user stories, conduct acceptance testing and create detailed release notes and wiki-based product documentation.

Ensure key squad level artefacts are created and maintained. Examples : current / future state client journey maps, personas, empathy maps, story boards etc.

Work hand in hand with the Squad & UX designer to create amazing user experiences.

Review and prioritize backlogs in preparation for increment and / or related planning activities and make appropriate trade-offs to optimize value delivery

When necessary, work in conjunction with the technical support team to triage and assess production issues, perform impact analysis, and provide support to the engineering team to bring issues to resolution.

Qualification in Agile Project Management and / or Lean / Six Sigma is strongly preferred
