ABOUT THIS ROLE
Audible is seeking a judicious, tenacious, enthusiastic, collaborative, and detail-oriented Corporate Communications Director to own business critical communications across a dynamic range of corporate initiatives. Through strong communication skills and influence, the Corporate Communications Director will drive business impact to advance Audible’s corporate narrative and reputation globally. They will work cross-functionally across the Global Corporate Communications team and many departments including product, tech, and content creation and will report to the Head of Global Corporate Communications within Audible’s Global Corporate Affairs team.

ABOUT YOU
You are a self-starter with excellent business judgement and operate with commitment and with appropriate urgency in fast-turn situations. You have experience working within a global setting and have a strong track record of producing high-quality, crisp content, a demonstrated ability to work with confidential information, and an uncompromising eye for quality and detail while simultaneously working on multiple projects for senior level executives.

As a Corporate Communications Director, you will...
  • Help develop, manage and execute proactive and reactive communications (including executive positioning, media relations, stakeholder and social/digital) for complex global business and crisis issues
  • Synthesize information from multiple sources to get a quick understanding of an initiative and build rich narratives
  • Research, write, edit, and socialize communications plans with an obsession for quality and accuracy in fast moving environment and against tight timelines
  • Identify opportunities and best-practices, develop guiding principles, templates and toolkits to create efficiencies and improve communications and processes
  • Model and inspire high standards through collaboration, influence, and consensus-building across key stakeholders
  • Apply exceptional communications and writing skills, varying style to meet needs of projects and audiences, and speaking clearly and persuasively, to engage others
  • Prioritize overlapping responsibilities and priorities, to foster a collaborative and centralized communications function while working across various teams
  • Prepare, collaborate, and participate in meetings with Senior Leaders and various business functions across the organization
