Adventist Health and Rideout has served the Yuba-Sutter region with exceptional healthcare since 1907. The award-winning hospital is a 221-bed acute care facility that includes an expanded Level III emergency department, a Level III trauma center and STEMI-receiving center and provides the following care services : cancer care, heart and vascular, stroke, inpatient and outpatient surgery, orthopedics and labor and delivery, including a NICU unit.
Outpatient services include over a dozen specialties and we offer senior living services. Adventist Health and Rideout serves the community with 365 physicians, 2,745 associates and contractors, including 849 nurses.
Job Summary :
Administers personal care and assistance with activities of daily living for residents in the senior care setting under the facility director and resident care manager.
Reports pertinent observations of patient's physical and psychosocial status.
Job Requirements :
Education and Work Experience :
High School Education / GED or equivalent : Preferred
Licenses / Certifications :
Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) American Heart Association : Preferred
Essential Functions :
- Assists with data collection, through basic physical appearance, vital signs, weight and documents accordingly. Continues basic assessments during routine resident care, reporting changes.
- Actively participates in the residents' plan of care and assists in implementing care intervention at their level of care.
Charts clearly and concisely, according to policy and procedure.
Provides a clean and safe environment for all residents. Assists residents with cleanliness, grooming, nourishments, rest, activity and elimination.
Participates in implementation of programs including : ambulation, feeding, bowel and bladder retraining, special skin care, and behavior monitoring, encouraging maximum levels of function.
Provides one-on-one support / visitation to assigned residents. Encourages socialization among residents.
Completes personal laundry for residents, strips and makes residents bed weekly, launders residents linen and towels, fold and return to residents, and assists in preparing meals, serving and bussing tables during mealtimes.
Assist residents with oxygen, ostomies and other medical problems as outlines in the assistance plan.
- Assists with the activity program. Makes routine rounds of assigned area at the start and end of shift. Attends all requires in services and meetings.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Our Case Manager Assistants are responsible for handling pre-litigation personal injury cases from inception to settlement.
Their duties include, but are by no means limited to : opening and setting up new client files, opening and reporting claims to insurance companies, placing statutory lien holders on notice, drafting representation letters, requesting police reports, ordering medical records / bills, assisting clients with scheduling medical treatment, and assisting with property damage claims.

Candidate Requirements :
- Our ideal candidate will have at least year experience as a legal assistant or legal secretary.
- Candidates should be familiar with law, legal procedures and protocols, and court system.
- Candidates should also know the basics of day-to-day operations of a legal office.
- Must be computer literate and have a working knowledge of case management software.
- Excellent communication and people skills are important.

We are looking for a Personal Trainer to join our team. As our new Personal Trainer you will :
Provide excellent customer service and help to maintain a positive user experience in the gym
Work 1 : 1 and in small groups with clients to help them define and meet their fitness and health goals
Write workout plans for clients to be executed both with and without your supervision
Provide fitness education and advice to gym users
Work with the personal training team to continue to expand the team's knowledge and ability to perform

POSITION SUMMARY :
Seniors at Home is a division of Jewish Family and Children’s Services of San Francisco, the Peninsula, Marin, and Sonoma Counties.
As a problem-solving center for residents of San Francisco, Marin, Sonoma, Santa Clara, and San Mateo counties, Jewish Family and Children’s Services (JFCS) is a lifeline for children, families, and older adults facing personal crises and challenges.
We have over 40 programs, including home care for seniors, therapy for children, youth volunteer programs, services for people with disabilities, and so much more.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Follows the plan of care based on identified strengths and needs of the client and the client’s support network
- Implements individualized care plan interventions to support and facilitate meaningful interactions with clients, including those with dementia
- Assists with creating and maintaining a calendar to accurately assist with scheduling and managing social engagements, medical appointments, and leisure activities
- Provides support with household tasks, including but not limited to assisting with identifying the needs for household items;
managing pet needs; mailings; communication with other household staff or external maintenance workers, and family members
- Performs basic troubleshooting of household technology and appliances, such as Wi-Fi, alarm systems, safety devices, and computers / printers
- Engages client in meaningful activities and adapts activities and approaches to foster client involvement
- Drives and / or accompanies the client to appointments as outlined in the initial care plan
- Utilizes current best practices in dementia care as it relates to communication and non-pharmacological approaches to support quality of life
- Coordinates services and communicates with the client, family, physician, referral source, and other team members, including Seniors at Home staff
- Utilizes proven dementia intervention tools and activities with the client, family, and caregivers and trains them in the use of such tools
- Participates in program evaluation activities to measure community impact and relevancy
- Collaborates with all other Seniors at Home program staff to ensure the delivery of an integrated continuum of geriatric services
REQUIREMENTS :
- Bachelor’s Degree or five years of commensurate experience in social work, care management, or executive administration is required
- Experience in the field of dementia care, including direct work with older adults and their family members is highly preferred
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to recognize, assess and respond appropriately to the client who may be challenged in performing their daily living tasks
- Strong commitment to establishing a supportive, compassionate, and professional relationship with clients and their family members is a must
- Excellent organizational and time management skills are required to assist the client with daily, weekly and monthly appointments
- Intermediate computer proficiency, ability to manage emails and an electronic calendar for the client is required
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve, take initiative, and work as a team member
- Knowledge of HIPAA confidentiality requirements and process
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills, and strong oral and written language skills
- Ability to drive clients preferred. (Requires a driver’s license for at least 2 years, no major citations issued by the CA DMV within the last 3 years, and a current vehicle insurance policy that covers the required CA minimum limits)
