Job Responsibilities and Requirements
The Sales Representative Limited Benefit Medical is responsible for sales and service of limited medical products to the producers within his / her assigned territory.
Sales
Responsible for the sales of Company products, achieving sales goals.
Responsible for the development of brokers within his / her sales territory.
Adherence to company underwriting guidelines while soliciting and securing profitable business.
Will provide service to policyholders and brokers as necessary.
Assist the Voluntary Segment Practice Leader in the general operation of the limited medical divisions overall functions as requested.
Operations
Expert representation in the area of the Limited benefit medical market
Adherence to the established Field and Home Office administrative procedures and underwriting guidelines
Provide guidance on elevated service concerns to policyholders and brokers as necessary
Accurately and timely record all lead information in the company provided CRM including all call activity, follow up and opportunities developed
Complete, analyze and submit sales and production reports to senior leadership
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and / or Related Experience
Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Minimum three years’ experience in group employee benefit sales
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
Excellent presentation skills. Proven ability to present technical information to large audiences required.
Proven sales ability as demonstrated by previous, quantifiable results.
Proficiency in Microsoft programs including Excel and Word.
Ability to Travel : Up to 50%
Work location may be flexible if approved by the Company except that position may not be performed remotely from Colorado.

Keys to Success in this Role :
Prior experience in medical office required responsibilities will include obtaining authorizations and verifying insurance.
