We are currently recruiting for an experienced Dermatology Medical Assistant or LVN to join our client s team in the beautiful Beverly Hills area.

This position requires a Licensed Vocational Nurse or an experienced Medical Assistant with clinical experience. This individual must be high skilled with working with high-end doctors and patients in a dynamic work environment.
Summary of Role :
- Assisting physician with procedures like botox, fillers, laser treatments, skin tightening treatments, and cosmetic procedures.
- Assist multiple doctors and communicate all significant clinical findings to the doctors
- Serve as an advocate for patient and utilizes appropriate resources
- Be liaison with other departments, facilities, and hospital.
- Review current medication, take vitals , perform designated diagnostic tests,
- Prepare lab work or specimens, administer immunization, injections, oral or IV medications
- Assist with setting up exam room / procedure rooms appropriate
- Aid provider in examination / procedure rooms.
- Manage patient care flow by utilizing systems
- Convey lab results to patients assists
- Follow-up scheduling needs
- Prepare charts as needed
Requirements :
- 3 years of experience required within a clinical environment.
- Licensed Vocation Nurse or experienced Certified Medical Assistant
- Experience in Dermatology, Plastics, Cosmetics, Aesthetics, or Spa is required
- Must have certification in Phlebotomy and IV Therapy.
- EMR experience with Ema Modernizing Medicine a plus!
Schedule :
Rotate shifts ever week, example :
Week 1 : M,W,F (8am-5pm) and T,TH (9 : 30am-6 : 30pm)
Week 2 : M,W,F (9 : 30am-6 : 30pm) and T,TH (8am-5pm)
- 11am-6 : 30pm every other Saturday

Medical Assistant Job Summary :
- The medical assistant will work closely with LVNs & Physicians in the department to support primary care in a clinical setting
- Will provide both clinic operations support (more back office with some front office).
- Front Office : answer phones, process physicians’ orders, help with message management, support telephonically
- Back Office : take vitals, medication administration, room patients, immunization support (always under the supervision of LVN or Dr.), charting using EPIC
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a medical assistant
