Mechanical Engineer
Solstice Consulting Group is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a manufacturing client in the Dallas area. Our client designs, builds and installs heavy processing equipment, typically large custom projects.
- Base salary of $95k - $115k DOE plus benefits package

Requirements
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or similar required
- 5+ years of experience in a similar business
- Prior experience with heavy equipment design and fabrication required
- Candidate needs to be comfortable with hydraulic control, electric motors, various types of bearings, material grades and material treatments.
- Strong capability with 3D modeling software is required - AutoDesk Inventor and Vault software preferred.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD software required.
- Experience with processing lines (steel, paper, packaging, etc) is a plus
- Experience with project engineering - coordination between mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic is a plus.
- Ability to adapt and function in an environment of changing priorities as design timelines required.
