This position works out of our Alameda, CA location in the Abbott Diabetes Care Division, where we are focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions.

As Product Marketing Manager, Global Strategic Marketing , you will drive go-to-market launch strategy, shape and define the product in partnership with the Product, Insights, Market Access and R&D teams, deliver and ensure pull-through of the launch package for the Areas / Countries (including product training, positioning, key messaging, marketing materials, brochures and content), and be responsible for product launch success and driving growth of the FreeStyle Libre brand .
What You’ll Work On
- Be the global product and market expert, providing in-depth knowledge of market trends and dynamics, competitive landscape, critical market success factors, and customer needs
- Serve as global marketing lead in new product development process, partnering with program management and development teams to define and develop next-generation products and on-market product improvements centered on meeting true user needs
- Collaborate with key cross-functional partners (Insights, Product Management, Market Access, Strategic Planning) to drive direction of go-to-market (GTM) launch plans for new products and on-market product improvements.
- Ensure pull-through of GTM plan in partnership with Areas and Country colleagues to meet launch objectives and roll in local learnings and insights.
- Partner with the Clinical team to execute strategic publication initiatives that support new product launch and market development initiatives.
- Partner with the Medical team to execute communication strategy that highlights the clinical value proposition of the FreeStyle Libre portfolio of products.
Collaborate with global and local key opinion leaders to drive penetration and new market development initiatives.
- Develop and deliver product launch toolkits that provide impactful new product messaging and education to Area and Country commercial teams, including product training, positioning, key messaging, brochures etc.
- Partner with Regulatory Affairs, Legal and Medical colleagues in the development and review of marketing materials to ensure competitiveness, accuracy, and compliance.

- Strong team player ability to work as a key member of the global marketing team who is accountable to global strategic marketing leadership team as well as the product division and geographical marketing
- Strong leadership skills ability to function as the marketing lead on product, marketing, commercial and pipeline development
- Project management skills ability to manage complex projects and programs. Ability to pull the appropriate level, functional and geographic functions together to support initiatives.
- Analytical skills ability to develop therapy and disease models, market and customer segmentation, creative, messaging, and claims surveys
The salary range for this position is 104,300 - 208,500K based on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Marketing, Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in product marketing and / or product management in healthcare, pharmaceutical, consumer, or in a regulated industry.
MBA with 2+ years of related experience will be considered
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced changing environment
- Ability to lead / manage program budgets monthly, create and manage purchase orders and scope of work documents with procurement
- Ability to lead and manage creative agencies to deliver effective Consumer and Healthcare Profession marketing materials
- Innovative and able to think open, broadly and strategically
- Experience in the diabetes category

As the Alchemy's first Marketing hire you'll own and drive the holistic strategy and execution for marketing our industry-leading developer platform.

Program Coordinator (Marketing)
Description
DEFINITION
Coordinate, organize, and implement delivery of marketing materials related to recreation and social services to the citizens of Danville in accordance with program objectives set forth by the Recreation, Arts, and Community Services Department.
Perform professional duties such as copywriting and scheduling to assist, coordinate, and implement Department and Town’s branding and communication efforts.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED
Receives direction from a Program Supervisor. Exercises supervision over Program Assistants and other program personnel, as assigned.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Essential duties may include, but are not limited to, the following :
- Schedule and coordinate the communications and outreach functions for the Department, including working with program staff and communications staff to ensure deadlines are met.
- Manage the data gathering and production process of the quarterly activity guide, including the proofing schedule, gathering content, and working with staff to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Develop and update content for the department’s digital presence, including website, social media platforms, and outgoing correspondence.
- Write content for public communications, including newsletters, flyers, brochures, posters, banners, press releases, and social media posts.
- Organize and maintain photos and videos for department programs and activities, including tracking photography needs for upcoming outreach and ensuring digital files are organized.
- Conduct and attend various training seminars, staff meetings, and community meetings.

Experience :
Two (2) years full-time or four (4) years part-time related professional experience in communications, public relations, or marketing work in a team environment or any equivalent combination of education or experience.
Background knowledge or experience in municipal parks and recreation is desirable.
Education :
Equivalent to completion of an Associate’s Degree and / or advanced experience in communications, public relations, or marketing.
A Bachelor’s degree is desirable.
LICENSE(S) AND CERTIFICATION(S)
Possession of a valid California State Driver's License or license in another state with the ability to obtain a California license within 30 days of hire.
First Aid and CPR certification is required but may be obtained during probationary period.
