The Team

Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME) is our customer’s organizational link between Integrated Supply Chain and the product development functions of Engineering, Program Management, and the Strategic Business Units.

AME participates in the execution of new product development programs to ensure product cost, capability, and producibility targets are achieved.

Specifically, this involves evaluations of the design, the supply base, the product cost, the manufacturing factory, the manufacturing process capability, and the manufacturing yield of an end item product.

Essential Job Functions :

  • Interface between Program Management and Customers.
  • Interface between program and suppliers.
  • Identify roadblocks to supply chain and drive to resolution.
  • Program Milestones, maintain required IPDS metrics and provide status presentations.
  • Documentation of current routings, detailed operation descriptions, etc.
  • Review, create, and update quality improvement plans for related manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

  • 0-2 years minimum of relevant experience.
  • Previous experience with SAP data management system.
  • Manufacturing experience a plus.
  • Ability to work in high stress fast-paced environment.
  • Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.

Additional Qualifications

  • Six Sigma certification and / or Lean Expert certification valued.
  • Proficient with GD&T concepts.
  • Experience with Aerospace products or related products valued.
