The Senior Systems Integration Developer is responsible for designing, developing, implementing and maintaining data integration processes between Yusen internal applications and external trading partners.

The Senior Systems Integration Developer will work very closely with business analysts, system and data architects, and operational staff to ensure the requirements are well understood;

and develop processes that are robust and maximize the level of automation of the data-acquisition process while following best practices.

The Senior Systems Integration Developer will participate in all phases of the project and development life cycle, from business requirements through logical modeling, database design, data sourcing, communication, data transformation, data loading, and performance tuning.

They lead and mentor other developers with their strong understanding of microservice architecture, horizontal scaling, event driven systems, cloud native design patterns, and experience working with public facing systems.

• Develop data transformations, Sterling Integrator maps, XSLT maps, stored procedures, , APIs and stand alone scripts.
• Work with business systems analysts to create technical design specifications, gaining a sound understanding of business processes for related applications so that integration processes fulfill the end-user requirements.
• Develop data, process, and network models to optimize architecture and to evaluate the performance and reliability of designs.
• Lead and coordinate teams of information systems professionals in the development of software and integrated information systems.
• Follow testing standards and execute unit, integration, and performance testing activities to ensure complete, timely, and accurate data.
• Utilize analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve issues related to system design, process flow, and software configuration.
• Understand and support data relationships for other system or application administrators such as data warehouses, operational execution systems and reporting.

Troubleshoot errors that could reside in the integration layer.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of development experience with strong hands-on skills, expert level understanding of partner and transaction integrations.
• 4+ years of experience providing end-to-end integration solutions development for enterprise software or hosted services.
• 4+ years of experience in implementing enterprise projects as a lead architect covering technical and architectural assessments, services, analytics, security, testing and development.
• Expertise in .NET technologies, REST services and client-side integration via JSON for interfacing and building required services (APIs) to communicate with existing product suite.
• Experience with Sterling B2B Integrator 6.0 and Map Editor.
• Extensive knowledge with data formats such as XML, JSON, X12, csv, positional.
• Experience in working with Logistics EDI Transactions : 204,210,214,310,810,820,846,850,856, 834,940,943,944,945,947,990 and 997.
• In depth knowledge of mapping integration formats between applications to a variety of technical layouts including EDI.
• Advanced proficiency in industry-related supply chain management software.
• Extensive experience in supply chain analysis and optimization.
• Hands on experience in tuning integration jobs to reduce run-time and increase efficiency through code tuning, hardware deployment, and architecture changes.
• Advanced skills in both relational (SQL Server) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis) databases, in-memory caching and optimization.
• Solid knowledge of integration services and adapters such as HTTPS, SFTP, SMTP, JDBC, AS2, XSLT, Web services.
