Principal Solutions Architect
As a Solutions Architect for Yusen Logistics, your role will involve driving critical projects and services for the company's global customers.
You will be responsible for designing and implementing effective solutions that meet the unique requirements of logistics operations.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field with 10+ years of experience.
A strong foundation in computer science concepts, software development, and system architecture is essential.
- Additional certifications related to cloud computing platforms (such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified : Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect) can be beneficial in demonstrating expertise in specific technology domains.
- Professional experience as a Solutions Architect or a related role is typically required.
- Hands-on experience with designing and deploying cloud-based solutions using platforms like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Knowledge of hybrid cloud architectures and migration strategies is valuable.
Proficiency in application and system integration, including experience with API design and integration patterns. Understanding of microservices architecture and containerization technologies (e.
g., Docker, Kubernetes) is beneficial.
- Experience with software development methodologies and practices, including agile methodologies, DevOps principles, and continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI / CD) pipelines.

Staff Accountant
Position Summary :
The staff accountant will perform general ledger, accounting and reporting functions for the YLA Corporate General Accounting Division using established accounting standards and principles, policies, procedures and practices to analyze financial information for accuracy and completeness and prepare other financial reports as required.
The most successful candidates will have a natural passion for math, and a strong understanding of the intricacies of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, and other financial transactions within an organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Works with senior accountants and accounting managers to ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end accounting closes.
- Compiles and analyzes financial information for completeness and accuracy and prepares journal entries based on findings.
- Reviews daily transactions processed for accuracy and follows up on exception errors, ensuring they are addressed timely.
- Reviews, records, maintains, reconciles, and analyzes assigned general ledger account reconciliations and month end close processes timely and accurately.
- Examines financial records, collects information, prepares reports and makes recommendations.
- Maintains documentation for assigned functions in compliance with required and established control procedures.
- Prepares and files various tax related returns for states and municipalities.
- Prepares documentation for internal and external auditors.
- Assists on special projects and assignments as needed.
- Provides assistance to the Accounting Manager and other Management personnel when needed.
Education and Experience
- BS / BA in Accounting or Finance required
- Minimum of two (2) years general accounting experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent ability to interact professionally and effectively with internal and external customers in person, over the phone and in writing to resolve issues and obtain information
- Team player with strong customer service attitude
- Excellent analytical and financial analysis skills

Customer Service Coordinator II
Position Summary
The Customer Service Coordinator manages Air and Ocean Import or Export shipments ensuring effective customer service, accurate shipment processing, timely deliveries and troubleshooting errors.
The position is located in either the Import or Export department of super or large sized branches in the International Division of YLA.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Support Sales
- Prepare and present proposals, quotes and recommend services based on customer needs.
- Obtain rates from our vendors for competitive quotes
Create and maintain operational SOPs and conduct internal audit for assigned accounts, as needed.
Act as the primary point of customer contact in the assigned account :
- Primarily responsible for providing effective customer service for all internal and external customers by utilizing in-depth knowledge of operational (import or export) processes.
- Manage customer relationship in assigned accounts.
- Proactively provide shipment status and notify customers of any delays regarding arrival, delivery or dispatch of shipments.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports for the assigned accounts.
- Ensure Standard Operating Procedures are available for each account serviced. Follow SOP in performance of all operational processes
Coordinate timely shipments at optimal cost and to customer satisfaction :
- Proactively ensure current pricing information is available for all shipments before making necessary bookings.
- Co-ordinate with overseas offices, agents, customers and domestic vendors for timely shipments in assigned accounts.
- Works with management to provide quotes for customers
Problem Resolution :
- Address customer concerns, trouble shoot errors, provide timely feedback on service failures and follow up on escalations.
- Review exception reports regularly, identify and resolve discrepancies.
Provide back-up support in assigned departments.
Performs other duties as assigned
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED plus three to five years related experience in air and ocean Import or Export operations is required.
- Knowledge of import / export regulations, domestic transportation modes and providers is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for customer services.
- Knowledge of import and export regulations, domestic transportation modes and providers.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, depending on oneself to complete objectives and determining when escalation of issues is necessary
- Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing / organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret verbal and written requests and directions. Must have the ability to compose letters, memos, emails and other written documentation clearly and concisely.
Be able to present one's self in a highly cooperative and professional manner with both internal and external customers, vendors, and government officials.
Must have working knowledge of Windows operating system and be proficient in Microsoft software applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.)

Responsibilities

Sr. Integration Developer
The Senior Systems Integration Developer is responsible for designing, developing, implementing and maintaining data integration processes between Yusen internal applications and external trading partners.
The Senior Systems Integration Developer will work very closely with business analysts, system and data architects, and operational staff to ensure the requirements are well understood;
