As a host, you are the first contact guests have with the restaurant and usually the
last. You can truly set the tone for the guests dining experience. You’ll be
responsible for many things, such as, cheerfully greeting guests, communicating and
taking care of special guest requests, confirming reservations, answering phones,
maximizing tables yet pacing the seating so the kitchen does not get slammed and
making sure servers are also not slammed and are seated fairly. Other

A Host’s duties primarily focus on ensuring that guests have a positive experience as soon as they walk through the door.
Responsibilities include answering the phone, making reservations, greeting and seating guests, and answering questions about menu items and other general inquiries.

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function at a high level.
