The successful Front Desk Agent has a friendly, compassionate, and upbeat personality with great communication skills. Our ideal candidate should also have a servants’ heart approach to customer service and a strong desire to elevate the guest experience.
In addition, the ideal candidate must have the passion and desire to be self-motivated, dependable, exhibit multitasking skills and enjoy a fast-paced work environment from time-to-time.
You will deliver consistent superior customer service while understanding your duty to accommodate guests during their stay in an attentive, courteous and friendly manner with the utmost professionalism.
Additionally, you understand the importance of going above and beyond when needed to support your team and ensure that the guest have a positive and memorable experience.

This is a Full-Time position that requires the flexibility to be able to work a combination of weekdays and weekends both AM / PM shifts, Weekend, and Holidays.
Key Responsibilities :
- Greets, registers, and assigns rooms to guest following established check-in / check-out procedures.
- Address guest complaints and resolve problems to their completion; following up with other departments if needed to ensure resolution.
- Completes AM and / or PM checklist.
- Issues room keys and, follows room keys procedures.
- Keeps up to date with room availability and guest accounts.
- Computes bills, collects payment, and makes change for requests.
- Makes and conforms reservations.
- Posts charges such as room, food, and liquor.
- Maintains knowledge of various room types and rates.
Qualifications
Key Requirements :
- Prior hospitality experience is a must! Preferably with a full-service hotel.
- Must have exceptional customer service skills with appropriate behavior and appearance expected at a 5-Star hotel.
- Excellent command of English; verbal, reading and writing, and can effectively communicate information.
- Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger and collect accurate information and resolve conflicts.
- Basic mathematical skills required.
- Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.
- Ability to stand for long periods, up to entire shift; walk and / or continuously movement to perform behind the front desk.
- Ability to prepare complex reports of room availability and revenues generated.
- Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.

SECTION 1 : Job Summary (Summary of the basic functions of the position)
The front desk clerk performs routine clerical, secretarial and administrative work in answering
telephones, receiving the public, providing customer assistance, data processing, and record-keeping.
SECTION 2 : Duties and Responsibilities (Responsibilities necessary to accomplish job functions)
- Maintains office procedures and assists with administrative tasks.
- Answers central telephone system and directs calls accordingly.
- Receives the public and answers questions, in person and by telephone; responds to inquiries from employees, patients and others and refers, when necessary, to the appropriate manager, co-worker, healthcare giver, or department.
- Operates office machines and computers as required to ensure patients are processed correctly and effectively.
- Duplicates and distributes materials as necessary.
- Composes, types and edits correspondence, reports, memoranda and other material.
- Assists patients with the use of the practice / clinic facilities or services.
- Adheres to all safety policies and procedures in performing job duties and responsibilities while supporting a culture of high quality and great customer service.
- Performs other duties that may be necessary or in the best interest of the organization.
Qualifications

One (1)+ year of retail or clinical front desk experience, preferred
SECTION 4 : Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements
- Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable
- Management and organizational skills to support the leadership of this function
- Ability to follow or provide verbal & written instructions with sufficient grammar and spelling skills to avoid mistakes or misinterpretations
- Interpersonal skills to support customer service, functional, and team mate support needs Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Mathematical and / or analytical ability for basic to intermediate problem solving
- Basic to intermediate computer operation Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Specialty knowledge of systems relating to job function
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations for this position; general understanding of HIPAA guidelines

Responsibilities :
- Ensure the security of the building by having visitors follow necessary sign-in protocol
- Assist with other administrative tasks, such as data entry, copying, filing etc.
- Take incoming phone calls and respond to emails and ensure the appropriate people receive all relevant information
- Handle deliveries and manage incoming and outgoing mail
- Welcome fellow employees, clients, and visitors when they enter the building and give them any pertinent information or directions
Qualifications :

Patient Concierges are also cross-trained on basic back office functions to help support the 5-star patient experience.

Basic Qualifications
