Operate a lift truck to pick orders, load and unload trucks and railcars
Perform inventory control activities to ensure accurate product records
Serve our customers through providing accurate correspondence on inbound and outbound orders

Reliable transportation to report to scheduled shift and travel between facilities as needed

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE :
Minimum 1 year of previous lift truck experience
Minimum 1 year of experience working in warehouse environment
PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS :
Ability to sit for extended periods through hot and cold temperatures.
Ability to repetitively twist or turn to drive in reverse; and stand, climb, kneel, stoop, and squat, as needed.
Must be willing and able to safely lift to 60 pounds, and slide, push or pull cases weighing up to 150 pounds.
Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and uniforms that are provided by the company

Forklift Operator
Essential Job Functions
- Perform any of the following activities at various levels of speed as directed by the Team Leader :
- Safely Operate Forklift and material handling equipment.
- Perform inventory functions including but not exclusive to : Cycle counts, physical inventory, product checks.
- Load and receive materials from trailers.
- Load, store, move materials in and out of racking
- Perform loading documentation process in accordance with Hazmat rules
- Operate and use plant’s warehouse management system / RFID
- Perform packing / quality checks and documentation as required
- Hand stack palletized product as necessary to ensure the smooth operation of the facility
- Be responsible for the final quality of every unit that is placed into a customer’s shipper. If unsure of the quality standard required, there is a responsibility to check with the Team Leader before packing questionable product.
- Be responsible for the safety and housekeeping in the immediate work area. Help to clean and report any unsafe conditions to your Team Leader or Supervisor.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement activities.
- Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, Safety Standards, and follow all plant policies and procedures.
- Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Able to visually concentrate, remain alert, and listen intensely for extended periods of time.
- Able to stand, sit, lift, bend, crouch, reach and climb consistently for twelve hours.
- Able to grasp and manipulate a variety of packaging components (ie. sprayers, bottles, caps)
- Must be able to read, write and speak English.
- Must be able to work in accordance with Health and Safety and GMP regulations.
- Must be able to lift 45lbs. from floor to shoulder level.
- Must be able to work overtime where necessary.
- Minimum of 2 years forklift experience
- Must be able to safely operate the forklift around co-workers, other forklifts, and mechanical and electrical equipment for up to 12 hours.
- Possibility of working around unpleasant odors.
- Working in non-temperature-controlled environment, including high temperatures and humidity for extended periods of time.
- Possibility of working around high noise levels, depending on location.
- Constant interaction with a variety of chemicals and chemical products.

Forklift Operator
We have immediate openings in Houston for an experienced Material Handler proficient using a sit-down forklift with a starting pay rate of $16 per hour.
We are looking for candidates who want to work for a stable, growing company. This is a direct hire position! Benefits will be available the first of the month after 60 days of employment.

Responsibilities include :
- Operate sit-down forklift, minimum 2 years experience
- Experience loading and unloading products from trucks
- Move product to storage locations by efficiently stacking or storing customer products in the appropriate areas.
- Efficiently move product from staging and / or storage areas into trailers, flatbeds, railcars, or other transportation vehicles.
- Ensure inbound orders are properly documented by following Company Receiving Procedures.
- Pull outbound orders and stage them in a timely manner.
- Prepare product for shipment, ensuring that listed product types on order have been pulled and any special instructions listed have been completed.
- Perform manual loading and unloading as needed meeting customer requirements.
- Able to lift up to 50lbs and adjust body to bend, push, pull, stretch, stoop, squat and grab; walking and sitting for extended periods
Requirements include :
- Must have 3 years forklift experience in a logistics environment
- Handling of hazardous material is a plus
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read, write and speak the English language
- Detail-oriented and capable of performing basic math functions, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Be able to work late or on weekend with short notice depending on customer needs

Skills and Experience Required for Success
- 3+months of related experience
- Certification in forklift operation
- Must be able to quickly identify materials

- Must be able to pass Hazmat exam
