Description

This position moves and loads existing wrecked vehicles, operates Nasco autoloader, sets sales weekly, and places inbound vehicles into stock.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Place stocked in vehicles on location numbers for storage.
  • Set upcoming sales.
  • Move existing wrecked vehicles on lot or for insurance inspection / legal / etc.
  • Load vehicles purchased onto buyers trucks.
  • Perform daily maintenance on equipment as needed.
  • Stock in vehicles to AS400.
  • Make sure proper announcements are entered.
  • Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such.
  • Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  • May be required to work overtime as business needs dictate.

Qualifications :

  • High School Diploma / GED and 3 years’ experience in operating forklift and or related field.
  • OR the right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any
  • level degree / certification beyond a HS diploma / GED in a related discipline.
  • OR 5 years’ experience in a related field
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required.
  • Must have or be able to become forklift certified.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills required.
  • Must be able to stand or sit for prolong period of time.
  • Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment :

Frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions. Moderate noise level.

Essential Job Functions

  • Perform any of the following activities at various levels of speed as directed by the Team Leader :
  • Safely Operate Forklift and material handling equipment.
  • Perform inventory functions including but not exclusive to : Cycle counts, physical inventory, product checks.
