Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following :
- Maintain pilot records
- Verify compliance with current Federal Aviation Regulations
- Develop pilot recordkeeping policies in accordance with federal guidelines
- Data entries for check rides, training and new hire pilots
- Maintain and modify pilot database to meet training needs
- Assure timely tracking and notification for medical certificates
- Create new hire files for pilots and verify accuracy of all paperwork, taking action to correct, when needed
- Create database reports for Regional Aviation Manager (RAD), Regional Aviation Manager (RAM), and Area Manager
- Perform monthly audit of 25% of the pilot’s records and purge outdated records
- Maintain Daily Flight Log / Load Manifest sheets (DFL’s); returning those with errors to the appropriate base for corrections
- Track and file pilots’ monthly duties
- Other duties as assigned

Lunar Flight Operations Lead - Test & Flight Operations

Maxar is currently seeking a Flight Dynamics Systems Engineer to join our Aerospace Engineering team in Herndon, VA. This position will support orbit design, development, integration, and testing of future cislunar spacecraft.
It will also support the Navigation Systems team in Westminster, CO which is responsible for orbit determination, orbit prediction, orbit maintenance, and collision avoidance operations and associated software development for Maxar’s Earth Intelligence spacecraft constellation.
As a Flight Dynamics Systems Engineer, you will work as part of larger multi-disciplinary teams that include spacecraft system engineers, ground system engineers, software engineers and spacecraft operations teams.
