Fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment through the use of welders, cutters, shapers and measuring tools
Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following :
- Carryout production, inspection, and welding operation duties
- Operate basic shop equipment (band saw, grinders, etc.)
- Use various measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, height gage)
- Builds fixtures for work holding as required
- Perform TIG, MIG, and other types of welding based on project needs
- Set up welding machines in accordance with job to be performed
- Read blueprints and technical data to plan layout and procedures
- Work with designers and engineers to resolve print / part issues and exchange technical information
- Deburr and clean parts as required

Helicopter pilot
Responsible to ensure aircraft and weather conditions are airworthy to transport medical crew and patient to receiving hospital within an assigned operational area.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following :
- Operates Air Methods’ aircraft in a safe and legal manner.
- Completes pre-flight before every flight verifying the aircraft is in airworthy condition by sign-off of the Daily Flight Log.
Performs a complete walk-around of the aircraft prior to entering the cockpit for flight and upon completion of each flight.
Ensures aircraft and weather conditions are airworthy to transport medical crew and patient to receiving hospital within an assigned operational area.
Responsible for compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR), Aeronautical Information Manual (AIM), General Operations Manual guidelines (GOM), and thorough knowledge of Air Methods policies and procedures.

Maintenance Planner
Responsible for planning scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance for the assigned fleet. Compile information, build work packages and pPrepare work packages on all assigned aircraft, M facilities and maintenance bases and / or repair stations for heavy maintenance or major alterations.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following :
- Manage maintenance plans to achieve a 95% inspection / task yield rate
- Work closely with component planning to schedule work of time controlled parts and repetitive inspections to be performed by maintenance personnel
- Coordinate with Purchasing, Warehousing and the AOG Buyer to insure availability of required parts tooling and components at the M facility or base
- Ensure all requisitions for pre-planned parts and tooling orders are performed on time and within SOP requirements
- Participate in Coordination and Pre-dock meetings with repair stations (heavy maintenance planning only)
- Schedule work compliance on all EOs, EAS and FCDs issued by Engineering for base or M facility accomplishment
- Coordinate with M facility leads, or repair station management concerning available manpower and tooling to support planned / schedule maintenance and adjust work packages are necessary based on allocations.
Conduct weekly planning meetings with area / region.
- Schedule MEL deferrals to include materials and tooling to support deferral in base, line or heavy maintenance work packages
- Prepare weekly base task listing (line and base planning only)
- Provide assistance to Base / Line mechanics entering data into Ramco and Air Vault to close out daily work as needed. Provide assistance to Vendor repair stations entering data into Ramco and Air Vault to close out work packages.

Chief Pilot
The Chief Pilot manages all functions related to the hiring, training, scheduling, management of flight crews, resolving out-of-compliance issues and communications with the pilot union.
This position is also responsible for developing flight standards and monitoring for compliance. Maintains and updates the FAA approved training program and all required flight publications as needed.
Maintains qualification as PIC in at least one aircraft used in the certificate holder’s operation. Participates in industry and FAA safety forums and committees.
