The Finance Manager performs financial analysis and modeling with varying levels of complexity for various business units.
May directly partner with business units to design and develop costing / profitability models and reports. This position will also be responsible for supporting risk management activities. Analytics is critical for a data driven Risk function.
This position will define critical metrics, identify the landscape of the entire risk function, find opportunities for improvement, work with insurance providers to craft scalable solutions, and monitor their performance.

Responsibilities :
- Develop analysis and scenario modeling to derive key insights and actions.
- Monitor and communicate trends, assess implications and develop actionable strategies.
- Recommend, implement and report on benchmarks for measuring financial and operating performance.
- Responsible for business analytics, data mining, report design, report development, and data visualizations using Power BI.
- Ensure all reconciliations, reporting, and analysis is carried out in an effective, timely and accurate manner
- Identify process improvement opportunities and drive innovation.
- Support strategic business decision-making through financial modeling and analysis.
- Build strong working relationships with stakeholders and team members
- Synthesize data from multiple sources and develop assumptions where needed to drive business insights.
- Build, validate and publish analytics reports and dashboards for the business
- Perform complex and varied analyses to enable sound decision-making around near-term and long-term business goals and objectives
- Understand complex financial systems, data and processes to provide support to end users and decision makers in the organization.
- Support forecasting and reporting of Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Statement of Cash Flows.
- Provide review, reconciliation and analysis of income and expenses.
- Treasury analytics and cash forecasting.
- Monitor and report on credit risks across the portfolio.
- Self-motivated to identify, research, and address opportunities and risks.
- Develop a deep understanding of the Risk ecosystem
- Structure complex, ambiguous business questions and utilize analytical skills to synthesize actionable insights to the benefit of leaders in the organization.
- Discover new opportunities to grow and optimize the business through analytics, financial modeling, and business case development.
- Design, plan, and execute methodologies to measure successes of business initiatives.
- Collaborate with other analysts / data scientists and help guide strategy based on learning from other analyses / projects across the organization.
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field, along with four or more years of experience in financial analysis related role(s) is preferred. MBA preferred.
- Expert-level knowledge of Accounting and Finance principles.
- Strong analytical, financial modeling and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in SaaS and technology a plus.
- Excellent data analysis skills and ability to work with large sets of data.
- Advanced (expert level) skills in MS Excel (including Macros, VBA, and complex formulas)
- Power BI skills preferred
- Fluency with analyzing and interpreting financial statements
- Excellent verbal and written communication, listening and organizational skills.
- Effective time management skills including the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Ability to work independently with the self-motivation to accomplish goals.

Compensation : Aya reasonably anticipates the pay scale for this position to be an annual salary of $125,000 to $140,000.
The pay scale for this position may vary if applicant possesses experience outside of what Aya reasonably anticipates for this position.

Job Summary :
Kearny Mesa Hyundai is looking for a Finance Manager to join the high-volume dealership. This individual must have great closing skills and a very strong CSI.
The Finance Manager sells new and used car buyers financing and insurance programs. Finance Manager also works with financial lenders to give fair interest rates to buyers and programs.
Compensation :
Employees in this position will be paid a base hourly wage at the applicable minimum wage rate ($16.30), plus commissions.
Commission amounts vary based on performance, but the expected average annual earnings are approx. $80,000 to $200,000. The annual / hourly pay range displayed serves as a good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum pay range expected for this role.
Compensation for the role will be based on a number of different factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.
Responsibilities :
- Offering vehicle financing and insurance to customers and providing them with a thorough explanation of aftermarket products, extended warranties and a complete explanation of manufacturer and dealership service procedures and policies.
- Maintaining good working relationships with lenders to secure competitive interest rates and financing programs.
- Processing financing and leasing deals accurately and securing approval through financial sources as well as the proper federal, state and corporate channels.
- Understanding and complying with federal, state and local regulations that affect the new and used vehicle finance departments.
- Responsible for maintaining the profitability of the department while controlling expenses and maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Creating and maintaining a program with the sales department that will ensure all new sales are referred to the F&I department.
- Training and providing the sales team with information on finance and leasing programs as well as the benefits of the dealership's financing and extended service programs.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed.
