Parsons is adding to our environmental team! We are hiring an environmental geologist, engineer, or similar with 10+ experience with a desire to support projects in the west and across the country in all aspects of environmental site characterization, investigation, and remediation , and an anticipated focus on PFAS .

What You'll Be Doing :

Lead environmental investigation tasks, from QAPP development, field work, and RI Report.

Develop and / or lead conceptual site model development, emerging contaminants work, data evaluation, and groundwater fate and transport.

Manage a team in execution of RI field work including oversight of field activities (e.g., soil, surface water, groundwater, and sediment sampling), staffing, and coordination with client on potential field changes.

Support the drafting of technical proposal and project documents, such as work plans, UFP-QAPPs, and closure reports

Track and maintain budgets and project finances

Track and maintain project schedules

Peer review of technical documents and reports

Prepare reports, including Remedial Investigations, Feasibility Studies, quarterly monitoring reports, work plans, Uniform Federal Policy for Quality Assurance Project Plans, remedial action completion reports, etc.

What Required Skills You'll Bring :

Bachelor's / University degree in a related field of study such as Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Hydrogeology or Geology

10+ years of working experience (excluding education) in environmental investigations and / or remediation

Expertise in managing a team and task management including budget, schedule, data analysis, report preparation, and client relationship management

Working knowledge of Federal regulatory processes and reporting (CERCLA, RCRA, CWA).

OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training

What Desired Skills You'll Bring :

Professional Geologist (PG) or Engineer (PE) certification (not required)
