Your Role :

We are currently expanding our successful team in our Denver, Colorado market. There is an immediate need for an entry-level Geological or Geotechnical Engineer to work with our multi-discipline teams to develop and support project activities through the application of engineering and geologic principles and techniques.

This position will provide engineering and construction-related planning, design, analysis, oversight, and studies for dams and water resource projects.

Critical thinking skills are required to solve technical issues and develop project-specific solutions. This position will serve as a technical specialist supporting both project and pursuit teams.

The position will require travel to project sites; work flexibility (hours and location) is possible.

This position affords an excellent opportunity for a notable engineering career with a high energy and fast paced team. You will learn valuable skills in client communication, project management and technical analyses on diverse dam and water resource projects.

Qualifications

• B.S. Civil or Geological Engineering or a related field; M.S. in Geotechnical Engineering preferred
• Engineer In Training (EIT) certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of directly relevant experience
• Experience and competency with AutoCAD, GIS is required
• Knowledge of geotechnical software modeling (Geostudio, Rocscience, gINT); competency preferred;
• Education and work experience should be related to geotechnical or geological engineering : oversight of geotechnical exploration programs, performance of seepage and stability analyses, preparation of geotechnical investigations
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including a demonstrated ability to summarize scientific data and model outputs in concise, readable language
• An ability to formulate and solve problems related to geotechnical or geological engineering
• Ability to perform field data collection and construction oversight
• Strong skills and proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft-based software, including MS Excel, for data analysis.
• Familiarity with elements of capital improvement projects process including engineering analysis, regulatory requirements and permitting, development of construction documents (plans and specifications), cost estimating, and construction administration and observation.

The successful candidate must be able to engender confidence with all project stakeholders. It is important for the individual to be comfortable and confident while meeting with clients.

Must have high integrity and accountability. Strong problem solving, time management, and written and verbal communication skills are required, with a demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and multi-disciplinary team under tight deadlines.

The position will require some travel, typically related to field and construction phase services, client workshops / meetings and site reconnaissance.

The Wagner Rents Shop Mechanic may be responsible for performing incidental repairs, removing and replacing repairable sub-assemblies, evaluating damage to determine reusability in rebuild, troubleshooting equipment, and / or performing high level diagnostic assessments in a manner that reflects the company’s vision of working as One Professional Team.

Depending upon education and experience, the Shop Mechanic may perform all or some of the Essential Functions listed below with or without direct supervision.

• Removes, disassembles, assembles, repairs, and installs components and parts as needed
• Determines reusability of parts in accordance with reusability guidelines
• Orders replacement parts
• Services and maintains equipment sold by the Company
• Tests, measures, and adjusts engine and machine systems and components within tolerances of manufacturer’s specifications
• Completes overhauls as needed
• Provides technical assistance for field service calls, as needed
• Attends training as requested
• Keeps up to date with developments in tooling, technologies, and systems
• Assumes yard duties as needed; loads / unloads equipment, and cleans returned rental equipment with pressure washer

Required Education and Experience :

• High School Diploma or GED
• Graduation from a technical school with emphasis on diesel engine preferred
• Minimum of 1 year administrative / clerical experience
• Minimum of 1 year customer service experience
