Class 3 Driver (Full Time) - Edmonton, AB
Responsibilities :
- Load and unload cylinders, count and record quantities and styles of product to ensure actual load complies with shipping documents
- Check and placard vehicle according to Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations
- Follow operating and safety procedures while completing the assigned tasks
- Complete shipping orders and related paperwork
- Complete trip reports, fuel tickets and other necessary reports
- Conduct pre and post trip inspections noting and explaining defects or deficiencies to supervisor
- Identify need for repairs and / or maintenance to vehicles and is accountable to ensure the maintenance or repairs are conducted with a minimum of disruption to the operation.
Qualifications
Qualifications :
- Minimum 2 years of Class 3 driving experience
- Valid, incident free, applicable provincial Driver's License with air brake endorsement
- Ability to manipulate a variety of cylinder sizes and weights as required
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
Assets :
- Knowledge of compressed gases and safe handling
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) training

Mule Driver
General Duties and Responsibilities :
- Moves containers to and from the seabulk line and scale
- Inspect containers
- Ensures the Se bulk Line has the correct containers on spot ahead of time for loading
- Verify all containers number before bring to the scale or liner area
- Assists with rail movement as needed
- Responsible for assistance with railcar connect and disconnect as needed. This includes :
- Connecting the hoses and tying them to car
- Installing filters
- Putting catch pans and jack stands in place
- Starting the blowers
- Ensure work area is cleaned throughout shift and free of any debris
- Assist with other tasks as directed
Mission Critical Outcomes
- Downtime of under 5% while waiting on containers
- 98% attendance outside of scheduled PTO
- 1 or less minor damage incidents per quarter (hoses, dolly legs, etc)

What You Will Be Doing
- Safely operate a Tractor Trailer Combination & Ready-Mix Truck in urban and rural areas with tight construction sites at times
- Completing routine maintenance of equipment, including reporting minor mechanical issues and thorough cleanliness of unit daily
- Contribute to keeping areas in and around the Plants clean and hazard free
- Always execute work safely by complying with our Safety Protocols
- Stay in compliance with DOT and BURNCO requirements
What We Would Like From You
- 21+ years old
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License A (CDL)
- 2 years’ experience driving a tractor trailer combination, or 1 year over the road with a tractor trailer combination
- Ability to pass PSP, MVR, background check, drug & alcohol testing and a physical assessment
- Ability to work irregular hours and on Saturdays as needed
- Flexibility to work from other BURNCO Plants based on business needs
- Commitment to safety, customer service and teamwork

The Role at a glance :
We are looking to add a skilled, experienced driver to our Trio Community Meals team in Haltom City, TX. As a driver, you will have the opportunity to transport a variety of goods to various locations each day.
What you'll be doing :
- Transporting materials to and from assigned destinations in a safe and effective manner, complying with all DOT rules and regulations alongside state and city traffic laws.
- Complete thorough inspections of any utilized company equipment, before and after each trip.
- Keeping open communication with dispatch to ensure notification of any issues or delays on the route.
What we're looking for :
Must-haves :
- A valid state driver’s license.
- An acceptable driving record and excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks.
Nice-to-haves :
At least one years’ experience driving commercially.
