Truck Driver (CDL A or B)

  • Provide a high standard of Customer Service while delivering, which includes unloading of products and movement to customer use point and reloading the returned empty cylinders to the vehicle
  • Driving represents approximately 30 % of the day, the remaining portion of the day includes delivery, cylinder handling, shipping orders / paperwork, customer contact, vehicle AM and PM inspections
  • Accurately counting and recording quantities and styles of product delivered and picked up
  • Complete Hazardous Material shipping orders papers in accordance with DOT / TC Regulations
  • Placard vehicle according to required hazardous material regulations and LINDE standards
  • Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Identify need for vehicle repairs and / or maintenance and ensure it is accomplished on time
  • Operate a variety of equipment
  • Regularly interface with both internal and external customers
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Using handheld computers for conducting customer transaction paperwork as well as compliance needs such as Hazmat preparation, vehicle inspection reports, load report, trip reports etc.
  • Following a computer-generated Route and Sequence delivery plan

Qualifications

  • 2 years driving experience or have completed a course of instruction from a truck driver training school that operates equipment similar to Linde's
  • No preventable accidents, license suspensions or other moving violations in the past 2 years
  • No alcohol related convictions within the last 10 years
  • A current medical examiner’s certificate or the ability to pass a DOT physical
  • Valid class A or B CDL is required
  • Current Hazmat on CDL or ability to obtain Hazmat within 60 days of hire
  • Read and write in English
  • High School is required
  • 21 years or older

Primary Purpose

Responsibilities :

  • Load and unload cylinders, count and record quantities and styles of product to ensure actual load complies with shipping documents
  • Check and placard vehicle according to Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations

DOT Driver (Full Time) St. Catharines, ON

Primary Purpose

The driver will be responsible for the safe delivery of bulk liquid products between Linde production plants and customer sites.

Key Accountabilities :

  • Can work up to 70 hours per week, for 14 hours per day
  • Ability to haul different styles of equipment, including b-trains.
  • Stand for up to 90 minutes at a time outside to monitor the loading and unloading process
  • Driving for at least 2 hours steady.
  • Loading and unloading trailers of cryogenics liquids.
  • Perform vehicle inspections on equipment, including but not limited to, lifting the cab hood, inspecting the engine and components, topping up fluids, (oil, fuel, def) inspection of the 5th wheel coupling to the trailer by going underneath the trailer, and the engine / dog house compartment of the trailer.
  • Ability to climb in and out of the cab numerous times in a day, using a three-point safety stance. Cab is 3 feet off the ground.
  • Loading and unloading trailers of cryogenics liquids.
  • Ability to remove hoses up to 50 lbs., from trailer hose tubes and lift them, 3 to 4 feet off the ground and connect hoses to trailers and tanks, with 20 lbs.

Linde is seeking a Product Manager to join our team located in Hampton, NJ.

Influential individual contributor position responsible for the product management of the Linde Electronic Gases and Isotopes business.

The role is responsible for execution of the Electronic Specialty Gases (ESG) segment strategy including product development, capacity and asset planning, vendor selection & supply chain, and overall product offering.

The position will work cross-functionally to support the market requirements for assigned categories and will work directly with suppliers, OEMs, sales, purchasing, engineering and operations, as well as customer service, customer technical leads and buyers to ensure effective business execution

This position reports to the Business Development Director, Electronics Gases and Specialty Products.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Create tactical product line roadmap proposals for the ESG and isotopes product portfolio based upon defined existing product volume and scope, as well as new product requirements.
  • Assist in developing and then driving the implementation of pricing strategies.
  • Support the sales team in responding to RFQs and other customer product requests.
  • Lead cost reviews and margin analysis to support sales.
  • Collaborate with asset managers to strengthen the asset utilization
  • Review and align ESG product specifications and adjustments to meet customer needs, including SQC and analytical comparisons.
  • Coordinate source changes with sales, operations, and engineering.
  • Work directly with purchasing to manage vendor relationships regarding supply chain performance, cost, quality, fill rate, contract management, and freight and assure contracts are in place to protect the supply chain and plan alternative sourcing strategies.
  • Work directly with operations and engineering to ensure production capacity meets current and future demands, as well as assets and spare parts planning and inventory meet BCP requirements.
  • Work with logistics to ensure the business is properly aligned from a stocking and delivery standpoint.
  • Work with quality and operations to ensure product specific customer needs are met for current and future business.

Qualifications

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or technical area required.
  • Minimum of 5 years demonstrated commercial success with functional experience in specialty material products. Direct experience with Electronics and / or isotope products preferred.
  • Experience with either manufacturing, development, engineering or procurement for supply of specialty materials required.
  • Has a working knowledge of SAP, Excel, and other systems required for management of the applicable products.
  • Ability to operate with minimal supervision in a complex business environment and handle multiple tasks and follow-through.

Job Overview :

The Linde Gas United States (LGUS), Hydrogen (HyCO) division of Linde, Inc. is currently seeking an Intern - Production Technician at the Whiting, IN hydrogen / CO2 production facility.

The intern will be trained and developed to work side-by-side with the plant's current Production Technicians. You will aid in operating the equipment associated with multiple Hydrogen reformers, a CO2 removal / liquefaction plant, and various distribution systems.

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Adjustments to process variables
  • Startup and shutdown of process equipment
  • Preparing equipment for maintenance work including lock-out tag-out
  • Correctly and safely permitting maintenance work
  • Conducting quality checks for merchant products

The Production Technician will be responsible for safely, reliably, and efficiently operating a cryogenic air separation plant in Hillsboro OR.

In addition to routine operating, the role will include performing or facilitating maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on plant equipment.

This position requires a combination of office work and field work. Must be willing to work rotating 12-hour shift schedule and adjust the schedule based on facility activities.

Some holiday, afterhours, or on-call work may be required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are needed. Attention to detail is a must.
