Waste Connections is looking for a safety conscience Driver Helper to join our GROWING team in Carbondale, Colorado.
PAY :
- $20 per hour DOE. Every hour after 40 is paid overtime.
- This position is eligible for safety bonuses

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Ability to safely operate a garbage truck (excluding driving) on specified routes to collect solid waste.
- Ability to read route sheets and service each customer identified on the sheet or assigned by the dispatcher.
- Help the driver collect the trash and dispose of safely.
- Ability to perform a physically demanding job, loading and unloading.
- Operate hydraulic hand controls to lift / load refuse and dispose of trash at designated facilities.
- Courteous interaction with our customers and perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- A typical schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, with an occasional Saturday as needed.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT :
- Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds.
- Work environment involves some exposure to physical risks such as moving mechanical parts. Which require following basic safety precautions.
- The employee is exposed to outside weather, including frequent wet and / or humid conditions, as well as exposure to fumes and vibration.
Noise level is usually moderate.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS :
- Physical stamina and the ability to be at work at a specific time daily.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English.

Local Driver - Home Nightly
Job Summary Make deliveries to customer job sites while adhering to all safety procedures. Load inventory on truck and unload at customer site.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities Performs routine inspections of vehicles and supplies to ensure road safety.
Plans route to and from customers' businesses and adjusts for traffic and / or construction. Ensures that manifests are complete and accurate.
Delivers merchandise to customers and contacts customers if they are not present. Loads truck with daily merchandise to be delivered and unloads merchandise for customers.
Pulls orders to match manifests. Prepares and maintains records in accordance with company policies and procedures. Provides assistance to resolve customer issues.
Nature and Scope Selects correct processes from clearly prescribed rules, past practices, or instruction. Seeks advice and guidance on non-routine or problem areas from supervisor.
Deviations from the norm are cleared by the supervisor. Under close supervision, exercises limited latitude / independent judgment.

Shuttle Driver
Subaru of Glenwood Springs is seeking a Service Shuttle Driver to drive service customers to and from the dealership. This is a full-time position for someone who is interested in working in the Service Department.
Essential Duties include the following
- Transport passengers safely.
- Move vehicles as needed.
- Park vehicles in designated areas.
- Moving cars between the dealership's display area, workshop, storage facility, and the pick-up point.
- Maintain the shuttle by sweeping floors, removing snow, cleaning windows, checking / refilling fluids, washing van and emptying trash
- Maintain daily ridership log and submit on a daily basis
- Driving and handling all cars responsibly to ensure damage prevention, and protecting dealership property at all times.
- Driving off-site to run dealership errands when required.

CDL Driver (FT)
What does a CDL Driver do at Swire Coca-Cola?
As part of our distribution team, you will be ensuring customer satisfaction by transporting our great-tasting products in a safe, timely manner to our customers!
Responsibilities :
- Delivering all store deliveries in a safe, efficient and productive manner.
- Correctly checking store delivery inventory compared to invoiced quantity with warehouse / backroom manager.
- Correctly checking truck inventory compared to load-out report. Correctly checking return inventory compared to load-in report.
- Maintaining back rooms / back stock areas in a safely accessible formation within the assigned storage area.
