Work Hours

The work hours for this position are 7am-3 : 30pm.

Key Accountabilities

Setup pot sink correctly according to HACCP practices and wash pots and pans as required, putting them away as them as directed

Clean or sanitize work areas, utensils, or equipment

Sweep and mop floors in the kitchen and service areas as required

Remove garbage as directed in a safe manner

Performs other duties as assigned

Must follow all safety rules and actively prevent accidents

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Work up to 8 hours a day on your feet, excluding breaks

Must be able to lift a minimum of 25lbs

Come to work properly dressed according to the dress code

Employee must be able to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods

Preferably a dishwasher with 1+ years experience, is punctual, reliable, works clean and organized, understands and practices food safety principles, and can multitask

Duties : Washing dishes, keeping the dish area clean and organized, and basic prep as needed End of day team clean up

We offer : 35-40hours, 5 day work week, $ plus ample share in the restaurant tip pool, shift meal and room to grow.

Schedule is 4 to 5 days a week generally with work hours from 10 to 4 or 5pm

Dishwasher Cleans and sanitizes all dishes, silverware, cups, bowls, trays, cooking utensils (pots & pans), etc., according to company standards and practices.

Ensures the dishwashing machine is maintained properly and that the dishwashing area is kept neat, clean and organized. Along with keeping the floor dry by using a squeegee, mop and floor mats.

Required to retrieve dishes / pans from the kitchen and dining room area and remove trash bags / cans and replace as needed in the dining room, kitchen and BOH.

Along with breaking down boxes and transporting from the restaurant to the dumpster. Also brings items from the dish area to the kitchen area as needed / requested.

Be on your feet for extended periods of time. Able to lift and carry up to 30 to 50 lbs.

Will also assist with other positions (Dining Room and Kitchen) and / or areas of the restaurant as needed / requested by Manager

Responsibilities :

• Maintains a guest focus while performing
• Assumes 100% responsibility for cleanliness of dishware
• Load, run and unload dish machine
• Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems to manager on duty
• Monitor dish machine water temperature and chemical levels to ensure sanitary wash cycle
• Wash and store all table and kitchenware
• Maintain adequate levels of clean table ware for dining room and kitchen
• Bag and haul kitchen trash to dumpster
• Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss
• Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies

Qualifications :

• Be 18 years of age
• Possess a positive attitude and work well with other team members
• Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our guests.
• Must be able to work unsupervised
• Must be available to work between the hours of 8 : 00 am to 11 : 00pm
• Thorough knowledge of health and safety rules in the kitchen
• Must be able to stand and work for up to 4 hours at a time
• Must be able to perform repetitive motion work without the assistance of restraints, braces or other incumbrances that limit range of motion or physical activity
• Must be able to lift, move and shelve products and materials weighing up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to work in temperatures exceeding 85* for extended periods of time

The base hourly pay range represents the low and high end of the pay range for this position
