Cybersecurity Delivery Manager

Description

SAIC has an opening for a Delivery Manager to join our talented, dynamic team. This person will work alongside the Department of Health and Human Services in a fully remote capacity supporting a contract focused within the health realm.

The key responsibilities for this position include :

  • Delivering projects and products using the agile project management methodology, learning & iterating frequently
  • Managing the delivery team work process to include capacity planning, velocity tracking, and dependency management
  • Working with the Lead Delivery Manager to address cross program dependencies and risks to addressing the commitment items on Security roadmap
  • Translate roadmap activities to user stories and facilitate work sessions with the delivery team to assess and estimate the work
  • Leading the collaborative, dynamic planning process prioritizing the work that needs to be done against the capacity and capability of the team
  • Actively and openly sharing knowledge of best practices
  • Experience setting up teams for successful delivery by removing obstacles (or blockers to progress), constantly helping the team to become more self-organizing, and enabling the work the team does rather than impose how it's done.
  • Experience working in multi-cloud environments and the cybersecurity domain
  • Experience using the Atlassian product suite to extract information that feeds your planning and delivery metrics
  • Ability to manage team capacity across new development requests and product maintenance that does not overwhelm the team
  • Adept at planning and delivering complex digital projects, breaking down barriers to the team, planning at a higher level and getting into the technical details to make things happen when needed.
  • Domain experience in cybersecurity compliance standards ( such as NIST 800-53 and CMS ARS);Security assessments, Risk Management Framework, Ongoing Authorization, and Zero Trust
  • Excellent communication skills to include writing, oral communication and presentation skills the embraces the end user of the developed product and service
  • Willingness and enthusiasm to learn new skills, new client environments, and grow domain expertise within the cybersecurity domain
  • Ability to regularly document / maintain team process

Qualifications

Requirements :

  • Bachelors and ten (10) years or more of related experience; Masters and eight (8) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and five (5) years or more experience.
  • United States Citizenship or has resided in the United States on a permanent basis the last three of five years
  • Ability to pass a federal background check and obtain a Public Trust clearance

Target salary range : $125,001 - $150,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

Covid Policy : SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
