The Business Data Analyst is responsible for helping optimize the way Customer Success operates the business.In this role, you will help evolve a broad range of capabilities including support of current state reporting / analytics and the requirements definition and build for new offers, partnerships, integrations as the Customer Success team and its scope evolves.

You are familiar with data analysis and data visualization techniques using relevant tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Dataflows).

You will develop database solutions and models to enable business insights and actionability while ensuring company information is stored effectively and securely.

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Collaborates with Sr. analyst on projects to improve reporting and data and reporting requirements
• Translate business needs into business requirements across cross-functional organizations to optimize business value
• Provide flexible solutions in a fast paced environment while embracing new requirements as the needs of the business change
• Responsible for data accuracy and quality within Customer Success
• Drive the execution of data quality management projects underway
• Partner with the data governance team to ensure solutions adhere to the organization’s data principles and guidelines
• Maintain a strong partnership with the Lifecycle Business Intelligence Team through effective communication and collaboration
• Responsible for supporting data access for group's data assets
• Responsible for collaborating with operations function in solving data related issues and communicating resolutions

Requirements :

• Experience in Data Governance, Data Lake, Data Strategies
• Experience in establishing data stewardship and information management strategies
• Previous experience in Gainsight
• Excellent matrix management skills cross functionally (Portfolio, IT, Finance, Legal, Sales, etc.)
• Proven ability to make informed decisions on complex or ambiguous data issues
• Ability to communicate at all levels of technical and business communities with clarity and poise both written and verbal

• Reviewing, balancing and reconciliation of Merchant Funds Processed, Rejected and Settled by various Credit Card Processors
• Translate financial data for multiple payment processors into journal entries for Finance
• Diagnose and troubleshoot reconciliation issues, profitability, margin, pricing and processing

• Monitor merchant & agent rate changes across multiple processing platforms
