Job Duties and Responsibilities

This is a position in the Command Center Organization within In Home Services. The Command Center is an organization consisting of five different strategic teams, all focused on optimizing efficiency in the field.

This role will have the opportunity to interact with internal and external customers across the country. Accuracy, timeliness and effective communication are expectations for success in the Command Center.

A Senior Data Analyst is able to identify and implement innovative strategies and projects.

  • Nurture and enhance our relationships with Field Managers, leveraging both quantitative and qualitative insights from data sources across the enterprise
  • Collect, report on, model, analyze, and present large amounts of data with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Garner key insights from data and communicate these findings to key stakeholders to help make data-driven decisions. Key technologies may include SQL, Python, R, Microsoft, and Google suite of tools.
  • Employ creativity and critical thinking in problem-solving and achieving business goals, using statistical techniques, advanced approaches, and / or new technologies.
  • Develop and deliver recommendations for continuous improvement to internal and external field management, executives, and other business partners.
  • Foster engagement and excitement around initiatives during presentations
  • Conduct long-term and short-term data analysis focusing on increasing productivity and lowering fixed and variable costs while improving customer experience.

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Minimum required skills / experience :

  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or related field
  • Strong experience with SQL and Excel required
  • Experience with Python / R and Tableau in a business environment required
  • Experience manipulating large datasets in a business environment required
  • Experience translating data to actionable insights
  • Bachelor's Degree with a focus in Business or related field (Business Administration, Finance, Business Development, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Education);

Master's Degree a plus

Pay Range

$91,700.00-$126,100.00 Annual

This is the base salary pay range that an applicant can expect to make upon hire. Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors.

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Financial Data Analyst to join our team to continue in providing data driven insights that transform our business.

The Sr. Finance Data Analyst will be responsible for automating the finance analysis and reporting processes and creating data visualizations and dashboards.

The role will support all phases of finance data related projects, including defining data requirements, data design, data mapping and transformation, and data validation and control.

This includes mining data from primary and secondary sources (mainly SAP FI / CO), defining, supporting and enhancing data sources used for analytics and reorganizing data in a format for ease of consumption.

This role is part of our Finance organization and will partner closely with business unit finance teams in addition to the IT organization.

This position is based out of Denver, CO but we do have a flexible work arrangement which, by way of example, an employee's work week may include both some days at the employee's assigned company work location and some workdays performed remotely from the employee's home.

The schedule of remote work will be based on business and work needs as determined by management. Currently, this position requires work at the JM World Headquarters in Denver, CO and is not fully remote.

Your Day-to-Day :

  • Identify opportunities for improvement and translate them into projects.
  • Secure buy in from business and corporate stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Lead corporate and business unit finance teams to implement new data modelling, analytics, and presentation technology.
  • Initiate and manage new projects and build cross functional teams with corporate business finance, IT, and subject matter experts.
  • Employ effective data visualization techniques to tell the business story.
  • Develop sustainable, fully automated dashboards to help management quickly assess financial health of the business and identify drivers of performance.
  • Reconcile financial information from dashboards to the data source ERP and implement controls to ensure continued accuracy.
