Overview
The pharmacy data analyst compiles and distributes comprehensive data for all pharmacy metrics such as specialty pharmacy, retail pharmacy, third party payer and manufacturer reporting requirements.
Responsible for orchestrating all the data needed to produce or achieve established quality process improvement initiatives and goals set by the Director of Retail Pharmacy and the VP of Pharmacy Operations.
Responsibilities and goals focus around providing real-time data collection, analytics and reporting to key stakeholders for accreditation metric reporting, specialty pharmacy growth, and as requested for specific projects or initiatives.
What you will do
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of routine specialty accrediation and growth metrics. Ensure that monthly comprehensive specialty and retail dashboard data is distributed to key stakeholders.
- Responsible for the development, updating and maintenance of the accreditation, manufacturers and third party payers data reporting metrics.
Continually work to establish meaningful and useful indicators. Strive to develop indicators that have minimal work involved in updating and maintenance.
- Works with data aggregators, wholesalers, drug manufacturers and third-party payers to manage and oversee compliance with contractual terms and conditions for data analytics and reporting.
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of data for specific projects or initiatives as requested by facility or department leadership.
- Demonstrates positive interpersonal relations in dealing with fellow employees, supervisors, the public and patients so that departmental productivity and positive employee relations are maximized and a favorable image of the organization is projected.
Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or GED, (Required)
- Bachelors Degree, Related field (Preferred)
Experience
- 1 year Experience working with database structure, query design and reporting solutions (Required)
- 1 year Healthcare experience (Preferred)
