Duties: Lead a team of Business Intelligence Engineers, Business Intelligence Analysts, and Report Developers to define and build key metrics for technical and non-technical Ring business units. Provide vision, direction, and day-to-day management for the team. Lead development and implementation of scalable, data-driven solutions for widely ranging stakeholders such as Product Engineering, Mobile App Engineering, Sales, and Finance. Monitor existing metrics, analyze data and partner with internal teams to identify process and system improvement opportunities. Manage challenges associated with investigating and understanding large data sets and build predictive models based on the data. Work with product managers and engineering teams to define and prioritize data science and analytics projects. Partner with the leadership team to identify high-impact opportunities that leverage our extensive data to better serve our customers. Provide capabilities to allow people to self-service their reporting needs as much as possible. Facilitate numerous data-driven efforts to customize our product suite experience based on individual user profiles, needs, and interests. Help identify quality sources of data and emerging tools, vendors, and systems in order to improve existing architecture and processes. Establish a repeatable process and structure to scale the business. Providing data-based strategic direction to identify and address business issues and opportunities. Plans, manages and controls the activities of a team or teams of analysts that provides business intelligence and strategic planning support for business segments or the company at large. Leads initiatives to analyze complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources.
