Job Duties

  • Assemble electronic assemblies by following detailed procedures and utilizing solder assembly best practices.
  • Creates and maintains detailed assembly records.
  • Assists hardware engineers in assembly of prototype, flight electronics and cable harnesses, testing, troubleshooting, and integrating flight electronics with mechanical components.
  • Performs other duties as required or requested which may become essential to this position.

Qualifications

  • High-School Graduate / GED required. Some college or Trade School / ROP certification desired.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience.
  • Excellent hand soldering, harness wiring, cable building, documentation, organization, and communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to details and ability to work closely with each member of a production team.
  • Results-oriented, self-motivated and dependable.
  • Must read schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • J-STD-001 Certification is required. With Space Addendum is preferred. Will be required to become NASA certified assembler.
  • Must be computer literate with knowledge of MS Excel and Word.

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit for a prolonged period of time. Manual dexterity as required for assembly. Good visual acuity, short and mid-range.

Walking, bending, reaching, and ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. Ability to meet stressful deadlines. High attention to details, good communication both written and oral.

As a Supervisor Assembly, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

Here, you will make an impact by :

  • Manage team of technicians and assemblers responsible for product build, support and repair
  • Collaborate with customers, buyers / planners, customer service, production, and shipping teams to ensure product is built, repaired, refurbished, and shipped on time
  • Track yield / PPH / working hours, prioritize actions, and track / report results on a daily / hourly basis

Duties and Responsibilities :

Execute on multiple production orders and processes within allotted time standards

Provide overall device history record recording, reporting (serial numbers, tools)

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Handling and managing fragile composite materials.

  • Notate usage and out time controls on all adhesive materials used.
  • Report data and interface with other employees and departments.
  • Tooling preparation and release application.

Skills / Experience :
