This role will monitor emails and queues to research and resolve escalated issues for scheduled air and exclusive vacation risk flights.
This assistance includes interacting directly with internal staff via email and airlines through outbound calls and emails.
This role will also provide support to internal team members who need assistance with maneuvering through the GDS airline systems.
The role will require proficient work in the airline computer system to process air changes and the ALG reservation system as well as working directly with the airline partners to confirm changes as needed.
The team member will perform these functions in adherence to company guidelines and upholding revenue expectations while showing compassion for our customer’s situation and working to ensure their satisfaction in a resolution.
A successful Airline System Coordinator will :
- Answer emails regarding escalated air situations which may require reaching out to the airline for resolution
- Utilize all airline computer systems to review PNR’s, issue tickets, process exchanges, voids and refunds and work queues
- Utilize ALG reservation system to enter comments and send confirmations of changes
- Process insurance recovery ticketing
- Maintain informational sheets for airline processes and contracts
- Inform Supervisors of issues impacting delivery of end-to-end service
- Provide feedback to Supervisors on escalation issues or feedback on system errors
- Run and work reports on exceptions or failures
- Utilize Microsoft Teams, Zendesk, other tools for communication, policies and problem solving
- Maintain informational sheets for airline processes and other tracking sheets as needed
- Handle escalated risk block issues
- Meet established metrics
- Work with other departments as needed to resolve issues
- Additional duties as assigned
A successful Airline System Coordinator will have :
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and at least one year related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with an airline system preferred
- Knowledge of MS office
- Experience with internal reservation systems a plus
- Strong understanding of customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction
- Ability to problem solve including identifying the issue and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail oriented
- Judgement and decision-making considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one
- Superior communication skills, both verbal and written

About the role
Reporting to the Head of North America (NA) Aerospace Claims, the Airline & Severe Loss Claim Manager is a key leadership position responsible for the proactive management of all aspects of the NA Aerospace Airline & Severe Loss Claim proposition.
In this role, you will serve as the lead technical referral point for NA Aerospace Airline & Severe Loss Claim team members, and will collaborate with NA Aerospace and Specialty leadership, NA and Global Aerospace underwriting business leads and stakeholders to deliver a consistent, efficient and customer centric NA Aerospace claim proposition.
What you need to know :
- Provide strong technical Aerospace claim leadership aimed at ensuring the best possible loss outcomes through Total Cost of Claim management and initiatives
- Work closely with the Head of NA Aerospace Claims to ensure appropriate resource levels and skill sets to support the NA Aerospace claim portfolio
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with Aerospace underwriting, actuaries, finance, reinsurance and other stakeholders

AIRLINE PASSENGER ASSIST LOVEFIELD
Position Summary Details
The function of this job is to fulfill the passenger services obligation of the airlines for its officially disabled passengers as well as to assist non-disabled persons who desire wheelchair assistance for their comfort.
Passenger services positions are very customer service oriented and tipping is allowed and customary. Wheelchair Agents who provide extraordinary customer service are known to increase their earning potential between $25 $100 per week (example only).
Essential Functions
- At all times follow all safety precautions (push wheelchair at a safe pace, beware of other passengers and carts darting into path, push only one wheelchair at a time, back wheelchairs down jetways rather than face-forward due to decline of the jetway ramp, etc.
- Interact with passengers in a positive interpersonal way
- Assist passengers in any way necessary to provide professional passenger relations (i.e. providing directions, assisting with flight information, and helping with any out-of-the-ordinary circumstances like delayed flights)
- Comply with all Transportation Security Administration (TSA) checkpoint screening requirements and processes
Responsibilities
Safely transport passengers from gate to gate, curb to curb, or gate to curb dependent upon whether they are
- In-terminal plane transfers, originating passengers, or destination-arriving passengers
- Assist passengers at baggage claim as necessary
- Coordinate with dispatcher for assignments (dependent on airport)
- Coordinate with gate agents to assist any wheelchair-assisted passengers who will need gate agent assistance at time of boarding to board the aircraft
