Position Summary : The Sr. Manager, Warehouse Facility II is responsible for day-to-day operations of a high volume, high revenue and / or high complexity warehouse facility providing reverse logistics services to a diverse customer base.

Key areas of responsibility include :

  • Oversee all applicable functions within the facility (e.g., logistics, operations, manufacturing, engineering).
  • Develop budgets, set revenue goals and manage profit and loss (P&L) results.

  • Monitor facility safety and security to provide the most secure environment for employees
  • Work with industrial engineers to optimize the use of space in the facility, accounting for various process requirements of clients
  • Work with production departments to develop manufacturing and production plans, schedules, and targets
  • Work with leadership to develop strategy for warehouse operations, including budget development, capital investments, and cost reduction strategies
  • Responsible for establishing all shift production schedules; ensure appropriate resources (personnel, materials, and equipment) are available to meet daily production and customer requirements
  • Responsible for operational decisions to ensure product is moving through the facility, throughput, targets are met, and backlogs remain manageable
  • Develop new processes for newly acquired clients
  • Work with recruiting department to maintain a steady pipeline of candidates for returns processing, and inventory management
  • Adjust forecasts based on peak seasons, onboarding of new clients, and align staffing accordingly Influence (20%)
  • Oversee vendor selection and approve vendor contracts and maintain relationship management for external vendors
  • Establish standards for evaluating requirements for vendor products and services
  • Develop vendor relationship management strategies, working to reduce costs and improve productivity
  • Oversee negotiation of contracts and Service Level Agreements (SLA), optimizing the value in services to from vendors
  • Perform client presentations / warehouse tours and communicates with clients and other business partners
  • Partner with internal stakeholders such as, compliance, risk, legal, and supply chain in establishing contractual agreements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Finance or related field
  • 8-10 years of experience work experience in a warehouse distribution environment including a minimum of 3 years managerial / supervisory experience;

or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to complete the major responsibilities / essential functions of the position

Job Overview

The Warehouse Lead is responsible for assisting the Warehouse Manager and, or Supervisor(s) in all areas of Warehouse Operations by providing leadership to the team, training and evaluating Warehouse Personnel and processes, and maintaining the ability to provide expertise and hands-on assistance in any area of warehouse operations when required.

  • Leads and directs the daily activities of warehouse teammates to ensure the safe and successful completion of all related daily warehouse activities and operations
  • Verifies and ensures all applicable warehouse processes are followed including, but not limited to, the processes for handling damaged product check-in, etc.

Position :

The Regional Warehouse Manager provides operational leadership for four production sites across Pennsylvania, Illinois and Indiana.

We entrust the Regional Warehouse Manager to deliver service excellence, ensuring operational efficiency and achievement of company KPIs through;

the establishment of customer relationships, achievement of targets, team member engagement, development of leadership team, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Duties / Responsibilities :

Procedural

  • Complete responsibility for the operations of all warehouse processes & procedures
  • Ensuring SOP’s are up to date and reflect best practice
  • Hold managers & supervisors accountable and ensure teams are following the established standards
  • Oversee and build procedures to ensure all KPIs are being met
  • Ensure warehouse maintenance contracts are in place and being followed
  • Oversee team member conformity with quality standards
  • Collaborate effectively with other department leaders to ensure seamless flow of activities
  • Creative in resolving operational interruptions such as system issues, transport delays, inventory concerns, etc.

Team

  • Lead four direct reports with an overall team count of 40 employees
  • Establish performance goals for the team to ensure required levels of productivity, inventory precision, quality and organizational objectives are being met
  • Train and manage the distribution team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short-term and long-term performance goals
  • Lead regular general meetings with the team in the different sites
  • Plan long range labor requirements based on sales, seasons and input from staff
  • Develop cross-departmental relationships & collaborate closely with production, planning, distribution and transportation teams

Qualifications

Qualifications :

  • Minimum (8) years warehouse leadership experience, with (5) years managerial experience
  • Must be able to travel a minimum of 30 percent of the time
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Experience in multi-facility management
  • Previous experience with Warehouse Management Information System (WMS)
  • ERP system is a plus (Dynamics AX, SAP, Oracle)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain / Logistics / Management preferred
