Roles & Responsibilities
Essential Functions
- Works on assignments that are moderately complex in nature where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required.
- Uses judgment requiring location and storage of items, proper packaging, methods of movement of materials, and release of materials.
- Ability to work independently as required.
- May receive general supervision with little instruction on routine work.
- May prepare goods for final shipment (domestic and international).
- Keeps accurate logs (both written and on computer).
- Is knowledgeable of receiving and / or distribution function.
- May be responsible for conducting cycle counts to maintain accurate inventories.
- Effectively works in a team setting, supporting team goals and objectives.
- Make effective decisions relative to position requirements
- Compare physical inventory with inventory records to ensure the numbers match
Experience Required
Minimum 0-1 Years Experience
Skills & Certifications
- Sit down and stand-up Forklift experience required
- Operator license preferred
- Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic skills preferred
- Ability to safely operate all required preferred
- Must be able to pay continuous attention to detailed operations.
Eligibilities & qualifications
- High school diploma / GED required

Description
- Responsible for coordinating daily customer shipments and receipts to insure the smooth flow of material to meet the customer needs.
- Monitors all shipping related functions for consistency and accuracy to include records and documents.
- Monitors all receiving functions ensuring compliance to customer, inventory systems, and Corporate policies and procedures.
- Maintains all warehousing operations (storage, packing, record-keeping, organization, and cleanliness) toward corporate compliance.
- Supervise Logistics plant inventories and cycle count programs as required for Logistics to insure that inventory accuracy is maintained.
- Coordinates all inter-plant transfers of finished goods, raw materials and equipment. Insures that all required documentation is on hand and is accurate.
- Responsible to insure all supporting J&J plants have raw materials available to maintain a continuous operation.
- Responsible for purchasing needed business items to maintain equipment and facility.
- Develops procedures for job responsibilities and responsible for providing training to respective employees. Responsible for conducting annual performance evaluations.
- Responsible for maintaining a high level of safety awareness and compliance within the department.
- Initiates and monitors contracts for facility and equipment services, as needed.
- Perform the necessary work needed as required by the immediate manager.

Responsibilities :
- Manage the Warehouse by making sure products are on hand and accounted for.
- Build warehouse team by hiring awesome candidates!
- Manage accurate inventory levels by forecasting demand, evaluating potential shortages and determining the most cost-effective way of assuring prompt delivery times.
- Manage and ensure proper product rotation.
- Conduct daily inventory of all product and check accuracy of count by utilizing SAP and Encompass.
- Manages fleet’s maintenance schedule to cost-effectively minimize disruption to product deliveries by coordinating preventive maintenance for all VPX delivery vehicles.
- Any other responsibilities assigned by your manager
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree or 5 plus years of experience in a Warehouse setting required.
- Must have experience with ERP systems, SAP preferred.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- Must be willing to build a team and execute!
- Must have a Get it Done attitude.
- Must be able to work with little supervision.

- routing materials to prescribed storage locations; storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods;
- rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials; examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage;
removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment. May be required to operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.

Job Summary :

Major Duties and Responsibilities :
- Handles multiple projects to meet project deadlines and budgets
- Resolves conflicting demands of users
- Applies knowledge of supervisory practices and principles
- Applies knowledge of particular warehouse function(s), such as inventory management, scheduling, and distribution
- Measures employee results and initiates personnel actions
- Independently resolves daily warehouse issues
- Hires personnel and conducts performance evaluation of subordinates
- Plans daily / weekly demand for labor based on account activity and reports results to management
