Job description
Cornerstone Building Brands is looking for a Warehouse Coordinator to support our Metal Depots shop in Baton Rouge. This is a great opportunity to continue in your building materials career or build upon warehouse experience.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Properly and safely load / unload delivery truck, trailer and / or customer vehicles while maintaining product integrity
- Read and understand customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed and / or shipped
- Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas with forklift.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins per predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code.
- Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for salespeople and customer traffic.
- Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves or relocate orders to a holding area or shipping department.
- Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method.
- Assist in counting of physical inventory and responsible for accuracy in count
- Ability to operate machinery within warehouse for trim fabrication as needed
- Maintaining warehouse to company standards of safety and cleanliness
- Wear the proper safety equipment.
- Assist, learn and become efficient in every position within the Depots organization to include Credit and Sales positions
- May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience
- One year of prior warehouse experience strongly preferred
- MS Office experience
- Detail oriented, time management
- Measurement skills (tape measure)
- Working outside in elements
- Forklift Certification / experience highly preferred; required to pass internal safety training within 30 days

Primary responsibilities for this position will include stocking, pulling orders, shipping, receiving, and cutting wire,.

Domino’s Pizza Supply Chain is hiring for a Warehouse Associate. The Warehouse Associate performs the loading and unloading of delivery trucks and moves and stores food and other products in the distribution center.
Responsibilities of the Warehouse Associate include receiving incoming product, checking for accuracy, loading trucks for maximum delivery accuracy, and completing load verifications with handheld scanner.
Warehouse Associates also assist the Production Department as needed.

Warehouse Associate
Anytime Flooring is seeking a Warehouse Associate that will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the efficient and effective operation of a warehouse facility.
They will be responsible for receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing materials, products, and supplies in a timely manner.
The Warehouse Person must ensure accurate inventory management, proper handling of goods, and compliance with safety regulations.
This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities :
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying their contents and checking for damages or discrepancies.
- Unload, sort, and store incoming materials in designated locations within the warehouse, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.
- Accurately record all incoming and outgoing shipments, including quantity, quality, and any damages or discrepancies.
- Prepare and package orders for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to safely transport and stack materials.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse, ensuring aisles, storage areas, and equipment are kept clean and free from obstructions.
- Assist with regular inventory counts and reconcile physical stock with computerized inventory systems.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in maintaining adequate stock levels to meet customer demands.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and sales, to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of orders.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries, and report any potential hazards or incidents to the supervisor.
- Assist in the implementation of warehouse process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in warehousing or logistics is a plus.
- Proven experience working in a warehouse or similar environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and documentation.
- Knowledge of proper handling and storage techniques for various types of materials, including hazardous substances.
- Familiarity with operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues and communicate effectively with other departments.
- Flexibility to work extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
