Job Summary
The Bartender position is to work as a member of the team to mix drinks for Guests, directly or through service staff. Hold a high level of professionalism that sets them apart from other casual dining restaurants.

- The Joe’s Crab Shack Bartender is always clean, organized and working just like his / her bar.
- Acknowledge Guests immediately.
- Provide an enjoyable bar experience for every Guest.
- Ensure hot food hot and cold food cold.
- Be visible behind the bar at all times to assist the Guest and service staff.
- Adhere to timing standards for products and service.
- Look for ways to consolidate service and increase table turns.
- Be a showman and concentrate on speed and accuracy.
- Must know all food, liquor, beer, wine and retail offered.
- Apply positive suggestive sales approach to guide Guests.
- Provide responsible service of alcoholic beverages.
- Educate team members on drink recipes.
- Document waste and try to avoid waste.
- Assist in keeping the restaurant clean and safe.
- Follows all recipes and specifications to provide perfect food and perfect beverages.
- Follows daily cleaning calendar tasks.
Minimum Requirements
- Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages.
- Must have all certifications and licenses as required by local Health Department and Alcoholic Beverage Commission statutes.
- Must have physical abilities to carry out the functions of the job descriptions.
- Must be able to responsibly handle cash transactions.
- Must be able to consolidate and coordinate needs for all Guests at the bar top as well as the service well.
- Must be able to carry food and beverages.
- Must be physically able to dance.

1. Serve as consultative point of contact for the client; identify and understand client needs and provide recommendations with supporting rationale with limited or no oversight from the Producer.

10. Lead the renewal process and prepare company applications and submissions to appropriate markets.

12. Assist assigned clients and teammates with service questions related to administration, billing, claims issues, and problem solving, upon request.
13. Work with Account Manager to schedule and conduct teammate meetings.
14. Understand and utilize the client management system(s) and other relevant technology platforms.

RESULTS MATTER!
- Team Members will master all Balloon & OMNI channel service platforms, including in-store pickup, delivery, curbside pickup, and others.
- You will manage and plan the daily and weekly workload to deliver on store sales goals and customer engagement.
- You will assist the Store Team Leader and Leads in supporting onboarding and mentoring to new Team Members.
- You will continuously role model behaviors connected to Friendly, Easy and Accurate and support other team members on delivering on our Service Model.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- The replenishment process will require you to lift, push and pull up to 25lbs daily.
- Cleaning, store recovery, setting plan-o-grams and endcap maintenance is required.
- Climbing ladders is required to re-stock and obtain merchandise for our customers.
- Ringing transactions on a register is required.
- Utilization of our helium system to fulfill customer orders is required.
MERCHANDISING REQUIREMENTS
- Freight processing and stocking product while maintaining an origanzied stock room.
- Comply with merchandise receiving, safety and handling guidelines.
- Maintain presentation standards.
The salary range offered for this position is a good faith description of the expected salary range this role will pay. PCHI reserves the right to pay more or less than the stated range based on a variety of factors such as experience, geography, etc.

Key Responsibilities
- Verify identification and age requirements of guests
- Serve guests in a positive and friendly manner
- Mix and serve spirits, beer and wine
- Provide information to help with food and beverage selections, including up-selling when appropriate
- Maintain an appealing and guest ready bar area
- Deliver initial drinks and refills in a timely manner
- Keep tables tidy and clean at all times (including pre-bussing and bussing as needed)
- Transmits orders to kitchen
- Deliver checks and collect payment timely
- Clean glasses and bar utensils
- Make suggestions based on guest tastes and preferences
- Open and maintain tabs during shift
- Provide outstanding service and build rapport with guests to create positive atmosphere
- Adheres to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies
- Adheres to all relevant health department rules / regulations
Requirements
- 1+ years of bartending experience strongly preferred
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Complies with state age limit for serving alcohol
- Knowledge of mixology for traditional cocktails
- Responsible, reliable, and honest team player with interest and ability to learn new things
- Availability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Stand and walk for extended periods including maneuvering up and down stairs
- Obtain and hold required licenses and certifications as required for your position
- Lift items weighing up to 50 lb.
- Stoop and bend
- Work outside, in varying weather conditions for extended periods
- Responsible Vendor Alcohol Training Certificate
- Food Handlers permit
