Warehouse Pick and Pack Summary :

Picks and Packs customer orders in the warehouse; maintains established productivity and accuracy standards.

Starting Pay : $15 an hour / May be higher based on experience

Schedule Shift : 10 AM - PM (MON - FRI)

Warehouse Essential Functions :

  • Pulls the correct product from the stock area and packs it into the appropriate boxes.
  • Lift boxes that may weight up to 50 lbs.
  • Meets required daily productivity standards for lines picked.
  • Ensures that work meets quality standards.
  • Stock shelves with product as needed and notifies supervisor of product replenishment needs.
  • Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies to accomplish job results without waste.
  • Uses knowledge and experience to resolve basic operating problems; reports other problems to supervisor.
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned

Education :

High School diploma or GED equivalent is required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Qualifications :

  • Warehouse related experience preferred.
  • Forklift, Order Picker experience and certification a plus
  • Basic computer skills required. Able to learn and use in-house software applications.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to work from verbal and written instructions.
  • Able to work accurately with numbers.
  • Knowledge of fasteners a plus
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, bending for extended periods of time

  • Previous experience operating powered warehouse industrial equipment (i.e., forklift, Ride on Electric Pallet Jack, stock pickers, etc.) preferred.
  • Must have the ability to communicate well with internal customers and management.
  • Must have the ability to follow safe warehouse working practices, as instructed
  • Must have the ability to efficiently work independent of direct supervision within the warehouse.
