Job Summary
Middle River Aerostructure Systems is interested in hiring a Warehouse Manager who has excellent problem-solving skills within ERP Systems.
The Warehouse Manager will serve as a liaison to Upper Management and Floor Supervisor(s) and drive process improvements in all parts of the Production Control Team, with a focus on inventory accuracy and material handling.
Responsibilities and Duties
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Learn, in-depth, the processing requirements of all Stockroom and Receiving Dock Transactions
- Problem solves issues in SAP ERP System to help Shop Floor, Leadership, Planners, and Hourly employees. Works directly with ERP consultants to drive resolutions and ERP improvements
- Extract reports and data from SAP and work with hourly / salaried personnel to maintain data integrity in EWM SAP
- Participate in and host Internal and External Audits (NADCAP, AS9100, FAA, OSHA, etc.)
- Engage and interact with hourly personnel, management, and various departments to make Value Stream Map improvements, specifically in the aspects of Safety, Quality, and Productivity
- Manage Salaried Floor Supervisor(s), who manages Hourly, Union Stockroom and Receiving staff, assisting with coaching and counseling employees regarding individual performance and development needs
- Attend required interdepartmental, departmental, and executive level meetings needed, speaking to action items and status of all aspects of the Department
- Support after hours / weekend activities, where needed, to maintain production scheduling
- Support Annual Physical Inventory activities, working side-by-side with the Inventory Manager
- Administrative activities include ordering Non-Inventory Supplies, Timecard Approval, SOP creation / updating
Requirements :
To qualify for the position of Warehouse Manager, the skills are required :
Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Logistics / Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, and / or relevant degree required with 5 years of Warehouse experience;
preferably in Inventory Control.
- Strong proficiency in ERP System(s). Preferably SAP; preferred 3-5 years' experience.
- 3-5 years Supervisor Experience is required (Union Management preferred)

- Interest and Aptitude for Technology

Warehouse Slotting
Summary :
Responsible for maximizing production efficiency through effective item placement, warehouse analysis, and maintaining system related logic that affects production work.
What you’ll do :
- Placement of new items in the warehouse into location assignments with logical ti / hi and FIFO criteria.
- Maintain GMP practices, flammability considerations, commodity grouping, and special customer requirements.
- Analyze aisle movements and make necessary adjustments to enhance productivity & capacity.
- Perform maintenance moves as suggested by production workers, as well as those discovered through observation or analysis to reduce damage and improve ergonomics.
